So yesterday night I came across a “cheat” way of doing the puzzle and I made a how-to video for it to show dev’s what to fix. Instead of posting it on the forums I decided to send it to the fancy exploit mail because one does not post cheats on the forums, right?

Anyway, I noticed some new views on the video but no mail back so I am unsure what the “status” on this is. Did I do the right thing sending it to the exploits email or can I post it on the forums? It’s confusing since the description for the mail says it’s for (economy) game-breaking bugs, which a puzzle is obviously not. And I just want to know if it even reached the developer that made the puzzle.

Not sure if there was more than one way to cheat the puzzle but a short cut that was available yesterday has already been removed when I checked it today.

I’ll have to check, I also came across only 1 spot so I guess it’s been fixed. Which is nice to hear that they’re pretty fast on these things.

It didn’t get fixed yet, I just tried in-game.

It’s not like the puzzle is hard by any stretch in the first place.. The very first section is a bit annoying, but the whole thing is super easy and rather short.

I am more amused by the fact that mesmers can help other players skip the whole(!) jumping puzzle with the help of their teleport skill.

Same, when I tested this bug to see if it got fixed there was a guy saying “I’d be too scared incase someone is frapping…like now” & “Don’t ask Arenanet why you were banned” lmao.

also there’s mesmers asking people some silver for placing portals from what I heard.
