Guild Wars 2

I’ve stayed up for all the events so far and it’s been so much fun, fighting the karka and colonising the island.

The best part though has been the cliffside fractal, when the colossus bows to you and walks off into the mists is simply stunning.

Agree..:). The Colossus is an awesome mini-dungeon.

Yeah touching! One of the best map in fractal. (reminds me God of War :P)

And also the one with Sons of Svanir when you are in the forest and you have to take the torch to survive.

That is my favorite one, I agree it’s very epic.

There’s always that one person in my group though that has so much trouble getting past the wind/bomb sections though. xD

If you bow back to him you get an achievement :P

The guy reminds me of Doctor Manhattan for some reason.

I agree. Stunning dungeon that incorperates all the best that is in GW2. Jumping puzzles, whit, and good combat.

Was a little bit dissapointed in The Underground Facility Fractal that you can’t leave with the “minivan” after you defeat Rabsovich. If you get in the “minivan” you will be left out when Rabsovich runs away

To be honest, I have found all of them to be amazingly refreshing. Anet have done a great job with Fractuals.

I agree Colossus was the best one I’ve done thus far. Just as a normal reaction, I bowed back to him and received the achievement too. Good fun that one was.

Yeah. It would have been so much cooler if you got a “Get in the vehicle” objective, then all party members use it, and once all are ‘inside’ the one that got in first gets a skill to activate the thing and run through several enemies after breaking the door, defeating them before crashing with the wall and losing half HP and getting burn.

Just for laughs.

i remember hearing about this.. and when i first went into the fractals with my group, i kept going “I WANNA GO SEE COLOSSUSSSS!!!” and everyone was like O.o and after the dolphin one, guess where we ended up!DD

it took us a while to figure out the hammer thing lol, but when we did, we had a system going and just kept going up top. cept for one member who got blown off the map :/// and in the end, it was all worth ti though. everyone saluted, bowed, waved and sent the Colossus well wishes at the end. lol.

yeah he is now my favorite thing in the game. i want to see more of him. does he have his own race? or was he made from someone? can he speak? is he the only one? im more interested in him then any of the dragon stuff you hear about.

How far into Fractals do I need to go to see this guy?

I saw him on 3rd floor. When he turns around and bows I was all. /awe. Brought a tear to my eye. :P
Really was probably the best thing I’ve seen in this game so far, was fun. Sadly I don’t think I will be able to do much in Fractals very often.

You can get it on any difficulty, they are randomly selected for each party and instance.

I agree, it a very good fractal with some nice climbing and combat parts and a interesting gameplay mechanic with the hammer. Also at the end where he bows to you before leaving and you bowing back to him is one of my favorite moments in the game.
