heard Arena Net wanted to “fix” the Black Lion Trading company and make precursor’s drop in price so people stop controlling the market. Although this was a good strategy, It did not end well. I myself only was able to complete the event once and I got a depressing item. I got the Spear precursor, I saw it and was thinking, sweet I can sell it to possibly get my Spark. Then I find out its only worth about 7g – This has got to be the ultimate troll by Arena Net or something. I mean who the heck even wants a legendary underwater weapon? It’s rediculous how myself and others I’ve met get precursors that aren’t worth anything while others get 2-4+ precursors and sell them and make hundreds of gold. I’ve got 900+hrs invested into this game so far, I feel stabbed in the back by Arena Net and honestly I’m not interested in playing much more after this event and to top it off I was finishing my second run and the event ends, while others exploited the Overflow. I’m probably going to be called the biggest complainer in the world, but I’m just getting my point across here. If Arena Net will please the fools on the forums about nerfing Thieves and other classes, why wouldn’t they understand this? My suggestion is to fix the market would be to do another event repeating itself for a day or something of the sort. Anyway I’ll end my complaining here.

The spear is awesome, go craft it! It’s for sure more unique than yet another Twilight.

Edit: Also, Anet doesn’t make the prices, the players do. So how would this be a troll from Arenanet?

Yeah it would be cool, but I’d much rather have my Incinerator.

Edit: I’m sure they know the prices of each precursor, why even put such an item in there when one could easily afford one? I’m probably just being whiney :s

Most people didn’t get any precursors at al, so you should be happy with the 7g.

The Troll here is while you, who has got a precursor are complaining while I who hasn’t got a precursor and i’ve done the full event from start to end myself have got Exotics and rares worth less then 3 Gold. And i’m not complaining about, as many others.

I hope you do realize that what maybe 20% maybe 10% got precursors?
for me I got kitten neck and rare hammer and did not complain …

Before precursors only came from Mystic Forge. Now precursors have a chance to drop from mobs and chests its not exclusive to the event.

Just give The Hunter only and I’ll stop whining

I’d say they just put in a loot table named “Exotics, named” or something, so everyone has a chance to get a precursor. I didn’t get one, but I still think it’s awesome for the peeps who got theirs, so I honestly can’t understand why people are that upset about it ^^

How do you even complain? You got a freaking precursor. Also it is not worth 7g just somebody decided that he wants to buy it for 7g, just freaking put a higher price on it and maybe someone will buy it.

People did not get 4 precs.

A lot of people didn’t even get to loot the chest at all. I would be happy with some level 78 exotics at this point. An underwater precursor would be awesome. And you should totally craft it. You might be the only one on the server with one. Also… nobody got 4. Maybe a few people managed to get 2. Most people got 0.

Yep, only troll here is the OP. I did the event pretty smoothly and finished it with my overflow group within somewhere between 2 and 3 hours. I was called away right at the end of the event and I missed the chest. Luckily, a guildie invited me to an overflow where it was still going on and I jumped at the chance, only to find that there were maybe 15-20 people in that overflow and we spent the next 4 hours completing it. 4 kittening hours. I got 3 exotics, 3 rares, 2 of which I could use, and my only complaint in the whole thing is that it should scale better to smaller groups.

tl;dr – you don’t have it even remotely bad, move along and stop whining.
