Clearly says it’s gonna start there. Where just got a mail to go to the island. The right information was on twitter. Now I’m on a laggy overflow again instead of my server with my guild.

But seriously, this lack of communication from Arena.net is BS. Why do they use twitter when they have official forums, in-game mail, in-game announcements, and other non-sucky ways to communicate?

They have been using twitter/facebook pretty consistently so maybe it’s you who should consider joining those social networks and just following them.

Maybe they should consider not posting the opposite of what’s gonna happen in the forums. It’s unplayable on overflow and it seems the event just resetted.

Why should people follow Twitter and Facebook when there are official forums for that kind of information?

Yes, we know you don’t need a Twitter account, but what’s the problem with making announcements on the offical website rather than 3rd party ones?

I feel they really should be using their website and forums as the main information, not other sites. Not everyone uses them and no one should feel the need to have to do use those sites just to find out information on a game.
