Guild Wars 2

No complaints, thus far I’ve had quite a bit of fun doing the Fractal dungeon. I’ve enjoyed each one I’ve been in thoroughly.

However, my group got to our 7th Fractal and it was this one, and we honestly had no idea how to get past the Gate. We tried breaking the Ballista’s and the Seigemaster repaired them, we tried to break the Arrow Carts and the same thing. We tried to kill the Seigemaster and the Burning Oil obliterated us.

So again, not complaining, just would like some advice from the people who have gotten past that point.

Burn down the siegemaster ASAP, but don’t stand at the gate, use range away from the oil. Once the Siegemaster is down, focus on the Ballistas and Oil, then the gate.

The npc charr do a pretty good job of mauling the seigemaster if you can get them through to him intact. What I did was run in and out of combat with the seigemaster and eventually the charr took him down.

Next take out the ballistas and take out the oil from range (I did it with the guardian staff 2 skill which can take some time. XD)

After that door should be easy to take down.

If only that fractal was part of WvWvW.
It would be much more epic but yeah take down siege master from range first.
