Vote for "make all phases available longer"
It seems that even if they in theory could extend phase one, they wouldn’t be able to extend phase 2 anyway.
From what I understand they weren’t able to find a good fix to the problem, so they removed it. Not sure if they’ll hand out the rewards to the people who couldn’t complete it, but I doubt it some how >.>.
Sucks as so many people lost out on content due to chain bugged npcs, oh well.
I’d vote against this, especially if the content has rare loots only obtained by completing it, I don’t want other players to have it, it’d make mine less rare. Character progression is the name of the game these days yo.

I honestly thought at first glance that this Lost Shores event is going to be more like the War in Kryta back in GW1. I dont remember that having such monumental problems and bugs. Then again, it was different in many more ways, not just the time it took to be introduced (several weeks, for those not familiar with WiK)
In fact, I would urge ANet to look at WiK and learn from the good example they set up.
I would like it to last longer, I have too many real life commitments and completely missed phase 1. Just a few hours to do something makes it impossible if you work and have family.
In my experience with other games, an event like this would be a WEEK, not a weekend. A 24 hour cycle per phase does not give much flexibility if you can not arrange your RL around your virtual one.
I feel really screwed by the time constraints on these Phases that just got dropped on us last second. Correct me if I’m wrong, but all we were told leading up to this is when the whole thing started and when the event on Sunday began. I got to the bugged point and had to stop, came back the next day, and hello, I’m locked out. I appreciate some suspense leading up to new content, but PLEASE tell us more in the pre-release patch notes so we can prepare for it.
