What are you expecting from "Lost Shore" patch?
So you want a new game? j/k
No I want the game fixed
Don’t get me wrong. It’s a great game already, but it has so much more potential.
I just hope they balance classes better, make dungeons (final chest) more rewarding and remove completely the event mobs tagging mindless farm…it just promotes “botting, afking”.

- Lower costs for Mystic Forge recipes (fewer 250-ecto/250-orichalcum-parts recipes)
- Most RNG removed from the game (most importantly Mystic Forge randoms)
- Disable mailing items/gold. Force people to use the TP
- Better rewards from Dungeons (6-7 First-of-the-day runs for 1 weapon is silly, 23 First-of-the-day runs for a full armor set is ridiculous)
- Magic Find removed from game
It appears I expect quite a lot.
I dont agree with this.
I dont want to see any of this changes ever. Lower the prices of some recipes ? Why? If you really want the item it gives, you works for it. Dont be lazy.
You dont like RNG. You just need to live with it. I like it for instance. Thats how mmorpgs are set up.
Disable mailing items/gold? Are you serious? Whats the reason? Cause of gold sellers? What if I want to send my friend 10 silver for repairs, or i want to send him dye which I dont need, etc? Most lame idea Ive heard for the past few days.
5-7 dungeons runs for weapons is TOO much for you? Man thats 2-3 days. You are one of these who like everything for free. Instant 80 next time .. I have 6x 80 lvl characters, half of them with full dungeon gear.
Dungeons are already rewarding enought. Maybe bigger change of dropping lodestones from chests. Thats all.
These things you suggested would hurt Guild Wars in long term for sure. You are just too blind to see it

- Soulbound removed from game, most items now account-bound instead (seriously, make this game more alt-friendly!)
- Disable mailing items/gold. Force people to use the TP
Two items I want to hightlight. I agree on a lot of what you said, and some things I don’t care about/haven’t come across yet.
About those soulbound items. I did Ascalon yesterday and got me a superior Rune of the Monk. I saw the stats and said to myself: sounds good for my ele! However, he can’t use it as it is soulbound to my ranger… What use is a superior rune, of which you need 6, which is exotic and thus a very rare drop, if it’s soulbound on a character that may not need/want it? Let’s say I have 3 characters, each do the Dungeon a few times. Each get 2 superior runes. It’s still useless.. So, I completely agree on that point!
The other thing: disabling sending items + gold via mail. I completely disagree on that point. I needed a few scales. And a friend send me his. Free of charge. Wouldn’t be possible in your scenario. Another thing, we have two accounts in our household. If I get a nice drop I can’t use, I wouldn’t even be able to send it to that other account. I see where you come from (I also don’t care for those people spamming map chat because they don’t want to use the TP for whatever reason), but the mail is used for more than just selling. It’s also a thing for communication between friends and family….

You can always use guild bank to transfer items/gold, so goldsellers would still be able to sell gold…except maybe it could be easier to track (whoever was in that guild).

Yes and everyone is officer and guild master in Guild Wars 2 right? So everyone can just put and take out everyting they want from guild bank .. NOT
Or you expect us to ask every single time our GM to give us rights so we can pick up that item from GB ..
Some ideas and expectations of yours are just beyond unbelieveable
I’m just expecting a nice content update. Will I care about all of it? Maybe not. I don’t like Diablo Inferno gear grind and if that’s what the Fractals are then I doubt I’ll play too much. But it’s just something to start working on the game’s level 80 content. If it’s not that great they can take the feedback and build something cooler. Online games are always a living, flexible process.
Just please no more under water.. Pretty please
I try not to expect anything.
Is the best way to avoid disappointment.
I has worked quite nice so far, when I manage to do so. But you know what it’s like when they tell you not to think of a pink marmox. You just end up doing so.

I’m expecting lots of fun and good times with my guild
Theif class have been already nerfed. Assasin signet is decreased from +150% cd on next skill to +15% dmg on next five attack.
what do you want more?
That they can not kill any player that they want in 1 second.
nuff said.

I just hope Rangers can be more valuable in dungeons.

It appears I expect quite a lot.
Usually posts like this are full of rather ridiculous suggestions, but I actually agree with almost all of this.
The whole chests / keys thing is just silly. It’s silly in Team Fortress 2 and it’s silly here. Either just sell the unlocked chests outright or don’t do it at all. Of course I realize that the reason it is done this way is a weird bit of psychological manipulation. I’ve no idea what percentage of people that works on, but it obviously works on some. If chests were account-bound and not a thing you could get for next to nothing on the trading post, it would at least make slightly more sense, even if it was still devious.
- bug fixes
- fun
that’s all. I had alot of fun so far from playing this game but some bug fixes will help.
classes changed up? for me not a priority. The thief BS build is great and fun to play I guess… I actually thought about getting a thief run the build aswell (lvl 79) but I guess I have to wait with that untill the class changes are released. A note to all the people who don’t know how to counter them… stick to your group someone stupid enough to wander out alone in both sPvP and WvW just asks for it in my opinion… Also the people who are out there alone likely have the same intention. And lets just be honest guys taking away the insane burst from the thief is like taking away the driving license from a car lover… Guardian is the same thing in my opinion. On the other hand rangers should have some changes… not to make them stronger or anything because rangers can have a great burst at a long range with a longbow (but nobody seems to like that weapon) Just give them a bit more options… Note: You guys don’t even want to know how painfull your longbow can be when you fire it from a keep/tower in WvW at a squishy like a thief.
P.S. to all people who think I protect these classes because I run them. Wrong my main is a Warrior and I never had a problem with any class someone who beats me will never recieve a flame war… instead I praise them because he/she learns me how to counter and be creative.
Finally, finally buffs to Rangers.
I hope
I’m expecting alot of lag and more bugs and bots.
epic fun with my guildies, RTL fixed
I’m expecting good times in the new dungeon but also a lot of grind.
I expect arenanet draw back about creating ascended items with better stats than exotic items. The rest of the patch seems truly awesome to me.
P.S.: I really hope they consider it :S

A Buff to rangers woulnt change alot i find the pet element very buggy half of the time.
works fine for pve just dont expect it to work wonders for Spvp.
And yeah, if the Engineers Thieves and Bunker guradians get changed around a bit. I dont think rangers would even remotely need a buff
Finally, finally buffs to Rangers.
I hope
Buff to what for rangers? There’s a reason an overwhelming majority of bots are rangers.

I agree too with most of these. Several things that annoy me the most is the waypoint cost at higher levels. The wp cost scaling vs the value of drops is way off. Another is the dungeon drops. I open a nice big chest to get items that sell for 2 silver at most… meh
To be heavily let down.
