Apart from killing annoying npcs – there’s nothing to do near the portal. Portal itself is not working anyway.

Should be open half an hour after the event started (great lag BTW thanks a lot.)

Is this intentional to help me to avoid any grind at all cost? Great job.

I’d like to know this too. I got the dungeon mail, but my group is unable to enter.

On the GW2 Wiki it says “Researcher Dessa opens up the Fractals of the Mists in Lion’s Arch half an hour into the event.” It’s nearly an hour after the event to defend Lion’s Arch and the portal near Subdirector Blingg doesn’t work. Is this supposed to be up or am I not doing it correctly?

At the Halloween event there seemed to be a bug preventing you from entering the instance if you were in a overflow..

Can someone please confirm this, as a kittenload of people are having trouble entering.

I could enter. The rest of my group couldnt. So i relogged with all of them together and now the dungeon is Off for everyone. I cant get in anymore.

Seems to maybe not work in overflow.

Well, maybe it is only closed in overflow.

Also not open for me. I need simply run to portal?

I got in once but friends couldn’t. So i left and couldn’t enter anymore.

The same with me – I’ve been trying but it’s not giving me the option to enter the dungeon (also in overflow)

On the announcements they said Friday 30 mins after the event, tho. Fact.

The dungeon is a permanent addition to the game.

We just need to know when we can enter it.

Seems like a bad start to this free trial weekend :/

i was just inside the dungeon, but 1 of my party members disconnected after we ported to the first fractal area, and when they logged back on, they couldn’t get into the dungeon again. we all left the dungeon thinking it just needed to be reset, and now we are stuck outside twiddling our thumbs because we aren’t getting the dungeon popup on the gate and can’t enter the dungeon again.

between the lagfast during the event and the chaos surrounding whats going on with fractals……..not a well planned day. For those participating in the free trial weekend, this won’t leave a good impression.

The culling was absolutely ludicrous and the lag was horrible. Botched event and great reason to the free trials not to throw money at Anet.

Attention! Drowning in whiny players’ tears is much more dangerous than Ancient Karka!

So far I’ve only been disapointed with Lost Shores. First the insane lagg with the Kraka event, then the dungeon bugged out (one of us got stuck and had to relog and got kicked out, and one of us fell down while weilding the hammer and the hammer was lost). We tried to reset it and now none of us can get in. GJ Anet!

You guys should invest on a public test server…

I suggest you take a look at the mesmer subforum and take 5 min. into responding to a topic there.
It wont take that much of a brain to figure out which one, it has already more then 50 replies.

because the devs that are working on this event are the same ones that do class balance and class stuff.

It looks like it should be up now.

Nothing, still can’t come in.

The problem is not whether the dungeon is there or not.
If your group members are in different overflow servers, you can’t get into the same instance. The other members in different overflow servers won’t get the “Join your group in FotM?” dialog.

Change the FotM lobby to be where you group up maybe a better idea because it will have a lot less chance to have overflow. Players do not stay there long and not everyone in LA is running FotM.

I was just in de dungeon with my party and we were busy with the hammer.
On our way up to the top, one of us got blown off by the wind WITH the hammer.
So… yeah. >.<’
