Lion’s Arch or Southsun Cove?
Available information is lacking in detail.

I too would like to know

Southsun Cave near the cannons most likely. It may start at the wp before it since that’s where the last event stopped.

Yeah, while I suspect Ayrilana’s correct, I would prefer a red post confirming.

This sticky’d post says Lions Arch, for all 3 events.

Sounds like it’s definitely Southsun Cove if you read the entry for 18th of November:

It would be good if they put a post on the official forums to confirm ahead of time though, like they said they would. No doubt it’s all on Twitter and Facebook…

Based on what the NPCs said, I would assume Camp Karka, since we’re waiting for the Consortium group to catch up. I’d guess we go to Camp Karka, they still don’t show up, and the Lionguard go looking for them.

I would also like a red response, since the wiki says Southsun Cove but the sticky says all three one-time events take place starting from Lion’s Arch. I don’t want to miss out ! Especially when I got up at the crack of dawn especially for this.

Just the Lion and Pride waypoints remain on the map for me the others have disappeared.

Without an official response i would assume picking up where phase 2 ended, but you know what they say about assuming :P

There’s nothing on https://www.guildwars2.com/en/the-game/releases/november-2012/#lost-shores-weekend-event that says Phase three starts [here]. We already knew it would take PLACE on the island, but it doesn’t say where it STARTS.

There is something in https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/lostshores/New-content-when-where that says ‘Starts in Lion’s Arch’

So while it’s reasonable to be worried, they do have exactly one post saying"It starts in Lion’s Arch" with no contradictions.

So that’s where I’ll be.

Well the sticky is just a player post that was made sticky, so I’d take what the wiki and guildwars2.com say over that. Camp Karka in Southsun Cove is the best bet. But yeah, it hasn’t been made as clear as it could be.

Less than 15 minutes until this BIG multi hour event starts, and we have no real idea where we are ment to be.

On the plus side if it’s multi-hour we should work it out before it finishes :p

Both the sticky and the wiki are player posted info and not official so they know as much as the rest of us. My guess would be on Southsun Cove as that makes the most sense.

There are also three large Karka vets outside Pride waypoint who are invunerable.They haven’t been their before.

Well I’m at the location where the event is supposed to be taking place but nothing is happening :/

It’s moved on now – go north into the cave at Bakestone Cavern.

If you haven’t gotten any waypoints on the region other than the main beginning one, don’t bother. It’s impossible to find the event and once you die you’re back to the beginning if you can even find it once. I gave up. Unplayable.

I just gave up the lag literally killed me, and didn’t find any ancient karka on the place where it was marked. Worst event i have ever seen :/

Again why twitter when we have the forums, in-game chat, and where’s the traditional GM chat?

I was already there inside the mountain, there so many karka. I couldn’t believe they could take out more than half of the player zerg.

Gave up because of armor repair cost.

Ditto for me on the lack of waypoints. Any active waypoints except the original two (Lions and Pride) were disappeared. I’ve spent half an hour trying to get to the event: because other events were still running, one of the main bridges is out (or hasn’t been built yet, for example), and then logged out. Logged back in, and the Camp Karka waypoint is back. Not fun, ANet.

Where I am supposed to go, after I reached Canach’s Folly (as mentioned in the mail)?
What event should where trigger and when?
I am again on an overflow server, are the events there delayed?

You know you don’t have to repair unless it’s broken? With so many people here it won’t make a difference.

To be honest, I don’t understand what we’re supposed to do. Ok I get it, we fight off the monsters and save Tyria. But it there anything else? Are there any special rewards on the island? I fail to see the purpose of the event. The only thing I got from this was a giant repair bill.

Do they want us to run around and mindlessly kill monsters and pretend we’re having fun? I just don’t understand. Am I missing something?
