massive unplayable lag..

It’s called lag and it’s kind of inevitable when they tell everyone in the game to be in the same place at the same time.

The first thing I said when the event started was, “OH HOLY MOTHER OF SERVER LAG!”

At this point, even the overflows need overflows. I doubt this is what ANet intended.

This is just ridiculous

After minutes of mega lag – dead. Gonna put off armor for the event.

Movie “drowned” in lag. Delays more 30 seconds on 50 m-bit … Aaaaand disconnect! What a good start! =3

Can’t help thinking they should have known it’d happen though. They should know what their servers (and most peoples internet) can handle and roughly how many people would show up. I’m not sure what they could have done about it but then I’m not exactly a software expert.

I’m thinking more overflows would have been a start though.

Now I managed to loot 1 Karka Sample, cannot even turn it in. Probably not even getting bronze on the event.

Who honestly didn’t see this coming a mile away? This event is a complete waste of time.

Edit: after 2 full minutes of waiting my ability finally activated to hit nothing, wonderful.

In Twitter they said they are working on the lag problem. Guess by the time it is fixed the one time event battle (hint, hint) is over.

It looks like the event isn’t going to end until they get enough karka samples and at the moment no one can turn them in, or even loot more than the odd one or two so it’s going to keep going for a while.

Whether it’ll still be going when they fix the problem or whether they’ll run it again I don’t know.

You Sir are certainly jesting. With that lag getting kills is just as improbable.

Managed to turn in samples for event. Got disconnected, entered in a different overflow with less progress. Lagged like kitten. So I just logged out.
