UPDATE: another party member was in a overflow with an Anet official, they stated that those who participated in the event but dced at the final boss will be compensated…. tis is all i know atm

Also, other overflows are now starting from early stages of the event, so try relogging from the character select screen if you cant get a group inside an overflow

100% agree, and who is to say i wont get dc’d again

It’s one a clock in the morning here and I have to get up early. So I don’t care if it repeats or not. For me it is over. I wasted 2 1/2 hours for nothing. Neither Karma, nor some money for all the repairs, no bag, nothing.

Honestly, I’d take the chance again.

This a troll topic? because I just got home and missed event and would really like to do it.

i am in an overflow with the event repeating, and i have a friend in another where it just repeated again (but skipped some steps) if you really want to get in on it id wait for a few minutes in an overflow channel, or check around in your guilds or with your friends

It’s not repeating, it’s just that in some overflows the event is still going on.

Not good enough – what about people like me? I managed to get to the chest, open it and pick up the Karka Box before getting DC-ed and then when i finally managed to get back into the game the chest had gone so i had the Karka Box to show for over 3 hours of work – and it was work and NOT fun, lagged like hell, riddled with issues and bugs…

Uh, yea Ive been checking the overflows the this event is done on all of them now

i have absolutely no desire to play through that content again

I call BS.. I’ve logged out and in a dozen times to get into different overflows. It is defeated on all.

You don’t have to play through it. All you have to do is show up for the end, so you can get the credit for the chest. The loot, and the following flurry of precursor buying and selling was the most enjoyable part of the event… which should not have been the case.

I do feel very sorry for those people who d/ced and miss out. So I think they should check logs and send those who missed out the items via mail. I.e. Karaka accessory, the Karaka bag and two exotics choosen at random. I realise its not easy but I think they should put in the effort given how much effort players put in. Almost 3 hours is nothing to sneeze at. Especially since the event was a endurance trial.

I just got on and event says its done. Everyone I talk to says its a one time event..

From Australia and didn’t get a chance to participate, should maybe add the chest everyone used at Lions Arch like they did for the Mad King event.

edit: if anyone is in an overflow with group space open, it would help to speed up the process and get people in on the event

Can we get some official clarification about this? As one of the many people who missed out on chest due to disconnection, I would still be willing to sit through that boring lead up quest if it was running again
