It’s removed. No listing for ancient karka event at all.

Would you believe that we just killed the ancient, were running to the chest and bam, it began the patch. Lame. Only 6 more seconds and we’d have had the loot. Three hours completely wasted. Thanks A-net. I’m going to sit on a heating pad after the reaming you just gave me.

A-net sure knows how to treat their loyal base.

And we were so close to finishing! Okay, maybe not. Possibly 30mins away or so. Btu still! Tried so hard to participate in this event, but alas the game gods were against me. As I said, good try all. We did what we could.

Unbelievable. The event started and they patched the game and it is gone now.

Anyone participating in those overflows had better receive the compensation Anet has promised.

You think it was better to just boot everyone instead of patching in a stop function for the event such that new overflows wouldnt spawn it? You couldn’t have just let everyone finish? Thanks.

Smooth Anet… Have not been able to even complete the event yet. Got stuck on a loading screen once, and now new build. Why?

This saw the best and worst of GW2.

Best= people helping each other out to get on servers.

Worst= everything Anet did.

What an unmitigated disaster this weekend has been. It’s hard to believe that Anet has actually run a decent MOO for years before this screwup.

Yeah, gotta say that this isn’t great. It was cool that everyone was trying to help each other, that’s what MMOs are all about. But it wasn’t cool to have that snatched away.

Ya i dont think i will be supporting anet anymore. Since it is not a payed sub there is little i can do so.

So is there anyone in an overflow server where this is still live?

ANet have pretty much shown their true colours. VERY shoddy event overall. You won’t be getting another dime from me until you bring out content that ACTUALLY WORKS.

I am lost for words. I thought I got lucky that the event was still repeating, got dc’d twice, kitten near killed several times on my way there, fighting for an hour in a giant cluster kitten of bloom and effects and then bam, new build.

To be honest, I don’t much fancy taking part in any more events like this. In fact I’m kind of over this game now. Thing about World of Warcraft is that even though it’s $15 a month, that’s $15 guaranteed to not waste your god kitten time.

Now we’ve finished testing their event they can roll it out properly today… Right?

Horrible event planning, screwing the Asians out of participation. No communication at all with the Elementalist community. Anet is really starting to lose touch with its community.

1. Couldn’t finish due to server lag and disconnects.
2. Couldn’t finish due to server crash.
3. Couldn’t finish due to new build.

On the plus side, I did the DE there at the camp next to the main event in order to free up the waypoint, so at least I got some (worthless) XP, karma and a shiny silver to keep me warm at night.

The players have been great, rezzing and the helping us get on servers. Can Anet match that?

Well, if there is one good thing to have come from this, its that ANET did a great job pushing those of us who had friends give the game a try away from purchasing it after seeing the absolute disregard given to their playerbase.

Seriously, during and right after a friend weekend is not the best time to piss off so many of your players. Its sad if you were unable to understand that, and just straight stupid if you did it knowingly.

To be honest, we don’t give a CRAP about ONE-TIME EVENT. JUST RUN IT 24HRS to make sure everyone is HAPPY. Gets IT!

So PLEASE STOP with the stupid ONE-TIME event!

Casual player, had some free time to do the event……………………….. uggh what a waste of time.
