Like it or not this had to be done. Not because of the people trying to do it for the first time, but the people exploiting it repeatedly for the rewards. Don’t be mad at Arena Net, be mad at them.

Please do a search and count how many people posted because the event bugged, froze, reset or crashed on them. This is just the vocal section of all those people who were not able to finish the event for one reason or another.

And you’re here to tell us that there are people out there who completed the event 2 or more times? Alright then since you seem to know everything, how about you name them all.

I personally completed the event 4 times, the first was the original starting at 12 pm pst, and the other three were on overflows trying to get other people into the event

Yes. A big one. I asked for names, not a name. Just because 1 person did something doesn’t mean lots of people did something.

ok then genius, you see this thread? i may have started it to let people know the situation, im definitely not the only one who hopped into the overflows to ferry people in…. but then why do we have to give our names to you? what could you possibly do with them? you can assume all you want but i did each event on the same character, no extra rewards, just extra help >_>

also …. seeing how the thread has turned from people seeking and granting help to immaturity as some posters have shown…. id like to request this thread be closed if any forum mods are looking

I’m not even the one who is mad that people were able to do the event several times. Thats on Anet once again. But just because you were able to do the event a whole bunch of times doesn’t mean a lot of people were able to and that we should be blaming them, not Anet, as was suggested.

in any case…. the event is done with, was a GREAT event that was HOOOOOOOOORRIBLY IMPLEMENTED…. just gonna wait n see what anet says/does as a response

I was fortunate to complete this with the help of people on this forum, so my thanks to you. My brother, however, had the crash and then rebuild routine stop him and he mentioned it actually cost him silver to do this event in the end.

So with waypointing from deaths and armour repairs, how many people are actually out of pocket as a result of this?

Are you kidding? I thought you were the one talking about immaturity, perhaps you should stand for what you say.

I’m not jealous, I congratulate you. You were very lucky. But you are just 1 person and excuse me if I refuse to blame you for the new build while people were finishing the event instead of Arena Net. I dont know why you want the blame but I dont think you can have it. Not from me.

I just wanted to give my thanks to everyone in this thread that helped people get the event done. E-hugs and props to all of you.

good thread, showed players willing and nice help, well done Leite.9475, I cant say I understand Anet, some concerned feed back and interaction like this thread run by Anet to make a on the fly work around, would of been a concerned response, what we got I just don’t understand.

I really thank everyone who posted in this thread. I’m glad that people were willing to help out those not fortunate enough to be there for the original event. Even though I did not get to kill the Ancient Karka (Thanks for that new build, by the way.) I still had fun.

Yes, I really appreciate getting a chance to try to complete the event, though to get so much closer twice and still not get even far enough to count as having “participated” (both times only got as far as the demolition, first time client crash then buggered by the “maintenance” at the end) makes the waste of so many hours somewhat bitter.

But you all were awesome, thanks for trying.
