I really like the idea of one-time events.

But it’s awfully tough to commit a long time at 8pm on a Sunday evening (GMT is PST +8).

It would be helpful if in future events you could provide an estimated completion time, so I can know whether I’m going to have to stay up late to try to do this.

Or perhaps even better might be to extend the window so that us poor benighted Europeans can have a good chance at the BIG SPARKLY FINALE event.

I appreciate that the majority of GW2 gamers may be in the US. But I’m sure I’m not the only person concerned he may miss out, simply for daring to live in a different time zone.
