Dear Anet, at the moment morale is at an all time low at Bloodtide Coast even in Desolation. Without going into the reasons, I’ve compiled a list of quick fixes you can implement to improve many of the ongoing issues with regards to the wurm fight (in the hopes that this content is more approachable to the players)

1. The map is wildly lacking any sort of HUB at the moment so A retrainer NPC near Firthside: So people can respec as needed without fear of getting stuck in overflows while waiting for the fight.

2. Crating Stations or Bank NPC: (It’s tedious asking for guilds to put them there) So people can get their boosters out of the bank as needed.

3. Trading Post NPC: So people who ran out or forgot can buy consumables easily.

4. It would be a huge help to make items like these tradeable since majority doesn’t bother picking them up:

5. The upcoming fixes on 2nd phase of the fight with regards to the lost 10 seconds (as you’ve already said is being fixed so Thank You once again)

6. A REAL Queue system (This one is a biggy of course but so that people can actually see that there is a queue and where they are in it. People are exhausted spamming join or jumping through portals even before the fight starts)

These are the things that I think can vastly improve the overall experience without changing the challenge of it all. They will only give people convenient means to get prepared for such a difficult fight on site. From a lore perspective you can say “The Vigil noticed the dire threat and stocked up in the region for the heroes of Tyria”

That should be a priority. It’s just ridiculous that sometimes you have to spend an hour trying to join and then not be able to. At least with proper queue system you could do something else instead of wasting over an hour of your time.

I wouldn’t hold your breath on #4. I’m certain that ANet did not intend for players to use summon consumables to make boss fights easier. They’re not going to encourage it.

I don’t know if it will be a good fix but shouldn’t there be some system in place for server ‘locals’ to be able to boot out guesters?

Guesting is well and good but you shouldn’t have to sit out of your own server. A second thing that would really, really help out just about everyone I think, would be to have some sort of a temporary place holder.

I don’t know about you guys, but I DC fairly often in this sort of content. I am always praying I don’t get shafted and stuck in some OF with 2 people in it. There is no hope of rejoining later. It would be nice if it held your spot for a DC for a few minutes is all.

As for the convenience items, I can see why they are not added. You are supposed to buy that with gems. Fair? I don’t know. That’s for each person to decide. It’s not really gameplay though. Buy the cons before you come I guess or have someone else buy and mail them to you. That’s just my thought on that.

But the OF issue is one to actually address imo. It is causing a lot of these problems. A real que would be nice.
