Anet I do believe that the events are fun the Marionette is fun and doable with a good group of people. But the Wurm is a living nightmare. Pick 1 thing out of instant death circles and tons of elite, vet, and champ mobs. Having both of them is way to chaotic.

For example the Amber Wurm, it is impossible to get the buff for the wurm to eat you and stand on the arrow without dying to death circles or champs. Why would you make it so the death circles can hit the people standing on the arrow? The event is fun don’t get me wrong but the difficulty is stupid. These arn’t organized raid groups doing these events they are random people from a server or if its overflow its multiple servers. You may just think we can explain what to do and how to do it but there is always a group of people that just flat out don’t listen or are AFK when your explaining it.

The concepts of the events are fun the difficulty and random instant deaths are not.

We got Amber to 2 armour stacks earlier. People figured out you need 20 to be debuffed and eaten but no one was picking up the harpoons except for like 4 of us. We got eaten I think 4 times in total. Just gonna take time for people to learn whats what. Amber has some pretty simple mechanics for that part (there may be more parts after the armour buff is down I don’t know)

While just standing around auto-attacking can get boring for a lot of players, the excessive amount adds that spawns prevents players from learning the boss mechanics, forces players who do know what they’re doing to run around chain rezzing other players, and just ruins the encounter overall. I’ve already heard talks of people guesting to other servers and/or only doing LS daily for their meta. I’ll probably end up doing the same if I even bother with it.
