I'm really liking the new update; GG ANet!
Where do you go in LA to do the story content, or any of the story content (not the bosses)?
All I got was a letter saying to go check out the areas where the new bosses spawn. Standing around in Lornar’s Pass waiting for a boss that I’m told to expect to just DC from isn’t much fun.

I think you have to do (not specifically win) the Marionette fight (though I’m not completely sure). After that you’ll see a living story * in LA, just enter the instance and enjoy!
So, you are the one.
“The story content itself is really good” ….you lost me there. There’s a story? Where?

Well I liked the story instance.. the explanations of and views on Scarlet’s plan (so far), the conversations between Ritlock and Rox, Braham, Taimi, Logan, Kasmeer and Marjory all were pretty nice, I thought!
And then there’s the bigger picture; what’s Scarlet’s ultimate plan? This is the first installment, so I’m curious to see what else there is..
All in all, yeah I think the story is very nice!
It’s an epic end battle to conclude the story, and I like the story instance in Lion’s Arch. It’s also nice to track down Scarlet’s hide out. But that Marionette is definitely too hard for casual content. Tomorrow we’re getting the same people together on Aurora Glade that got us our first Tequatl kill. I think that speaks volumes about the difficulty. Please lower the difficulty.

I agree partially to this. I like the Marionette boss fight, and Wurm bugged on me, but I wouldn’t say that the story is good. It’s mediocre in my opinion, but I definitely really like the characters. The character interactions are lots of fun. Throw those same characters into a better plot, and I’ll agree wholeheartedly that this living story was good.
I also liked the story instance, but I think it also demonstrates a severe problem I’ve had with the pacing of the Living World. The current Living Story-arc has been going on for almost a year now (The Flame and Frost prelude went live on January 28th, 2013).
And here’s this lovely little instance that tells us all we need to know about the current state of affairs, everything that’s happened so far, and how everyone involved feels about it in less than 10 minutes. In short, there’s a story that takes 10 minutes to tell, stretched out over almost a year, delivered in 2 week intervals. And there’s the reason why most people aren’t really caught up in the story.
