Does the Marionette seem to be dividing/tearing servers to shreds? As well as a bit off, mechanics wise?

The past three times I did the event, Lane 2 would fail their boss. Causing people to cry foul and lower the entire servers morale.

Then Lane 3 would fail doing their warden, which made people even more angry and furious, causing nothing but hate-speech and arguing for the remainder of the time.

It is quite an irritating experience, having to deal with irritated people. (Oh the irony).

As for the mechanics itself…

One time, during the three attempts today, I was in lane 3, which had at least 20-25 people in it. When the time came to portal us, I was transported to the bottom pad with two other people. So here we were, three little Asuran’s, facing this devilish warden. While the pad(s) above me, had easily five people tearing their bosses to shreds.

I am not qq’ing about the game, nor the event. I actually quite enjoy this Living Story. I just thought to share my experiences and see if anyone else agrees/disagrees, or has had similar stories.

The warden does scale to the amount of people who are on the pad. So it is do able with just 3 people.

and remember that warden 3 is the ranged warden. On HoD we like to have rangers, rifle warriors or any other heavy class there that does some what high range dps and can take a slight beating. We dont discourage the lighter armored people or people who are set up as support not to join lane 3 as they can be a big help as well, but we have found that we beat it more often when we do have it that way.

It was stated that its HP scales, not its damage. When everything it hits with is a poorly thought out one-shot AoE, it is no simple matter with a small group, everything is more punishing, one person misses one dodge and there is no way you are getting him back up without dying yourself.
