Often I think GW2 playerbase is pretty ignorant about what has been done in the MMO genre. These “new” events are not “new”.

Everquest 2 “open world” boss quests that worked, and worked well for everyone.

Please note the scaling.. of both rewards and difficulty.

Give me Ultima Online in its prime over any “mmo” released since. Great game, great times.

Anyway maybe you could look forward to Everquest Next: Tomb Raider.
