I just played the new boss for the first time and after quickly realizing I had no idea what to do and failing, I was wondering if someone could explain to me this bosses mechanics.

We’re all learning as we go! I was on Cobalt Wurm this past fight, with bombs to place. Apparently we were Doing It Wrong because you have to find the red arrow for placing and get at least 20 down fast.

The tip is misleading, you need to put 20 kegs down(very quickly, almost all at once) right below the red arrow, not just anywhere around it like it says. And portals dont work btw.

Tip for middle one is – focus on Eggs and only few to focus on the hearts and carry the ingredients to vents.

If you let eggs hatch you get 50 champion creeps train that is on your kitten and can’t even DPS when you’re able to.

I was on the crimson one (middle one).
Basically there are clouds in the area of 3 different colours: red, blue and yellow. There are also three fans one per each colour.
All you have to do to make the wurn vulnerable is to walk in the cloud to gain a stack of a “buff” for that color (you can safely walk in different colour clouds, since the stack will accumulate not override) and after walk over the fan of the corresponding colour.
In this way the fan will start filling. Once every fan is completely filled you have a 15/20 seconds window to damage the wurm.
Rinse and repeat till death.

EDIT: mesmer blink and portal seem to delete the buff, so you cant simply teleport people from the cloud to the fan.

On the middle wurm, there are 3 kinds of phytotoxin – red, yellow and blue. You have to run past one and go to platform with the same colour to fill the tank with toxin. When all 3 platforms will be full, wurm is vulnerable for some time and can be attacked.
We managed to get 5% of his health down :P At least it was 5% more than the other 2 wurms…
