I really enjoyed Scarlet’s Lair, but it was a pity that it was clearly marked on the map with a big golden star. Plus the achievement tied to it kind of made it not-so-secret.

I’d love to see more real secret clues be hidden in future Living Story updates. Don’t mention it anywhere, don’t highlight it on the map for us. Just put it somewhere, and let us discover it for ourselves. And if there’s an achievement tied to it, hide the achievement in the panel.

A lot of jumple puzzles are hidden like that, if you don’t look at guides you’ll have a good time finding and solving them.

This X 1,000. Also, these could be outside the living story. Would be nice if there was a multi-layer brain teaser puzzle that led to some secret hoard or tome that gave unique skills. Make these puzzles more attuned to solving ciphers and accumulating clues (that ARENT marked with yellow labeled “clue #2” on the object. To solve the complete puzzle should involve being able to travel to all points of the map (world completion critical). Not opposed to a jumping puzzle or 2 as a part of the effort, but this should not be a complete jumping skill test.

I agree, one of the reasons i really liked the secret world. It was a thinking mans MMO. With missions that included being dead to finish, and ‘treasure hunt’ type missions where you have to search the world using riddles. I really enjoyed that aspect.

I also enjoyed the hint they left in Scarlets Diary.
