So ANET just posted up this screen grab on their Facebook page. It’s very interesting. In the comments they even point out the object on the left that has a slight glow. Thought I’d share this with everyone.

I would submit – You’re not seeing a glow, you’re seeing a different light source like a window.

The glowing comment came directly from ANET. Someone else pointed out that it looks like a coffin.

Looks like those coffins you’d see in some places in Orr to be honest. That design there is the shoe of the big puppet.

My guess would be that this is one of her work spots, something to do with the LS instance I suppose.

I´d say a chest, crafted by the molten alliance

To me, it looks like a molten treasure chest and design notes for the robotic marionette.

What grabbed my attention was the drawing behind the Wooden X. Is that a stick figure Dragon?

lol, I don’t see what everyone else is seeing. All I see is a paper with a sketch of a high-heel shoe on it. Probably for the marionette.

wth which stick figure? Only thing I can see behind the X is a piece of paper, which as of now seems to be just some random lines, and that black chest to the left…

Scarlet seems to have dripped some strawberry jam on her design notes.

He is referring the the paper behind the X’d wood that has red writing or drawing on it. Lest I think so. Hard to tell what that is.

The coffin or chest is to the far left and stone colored in nature, there is a redish circle like outline you can see on it.

there’s nothing intricate leading me to believe it’s anything other than a molten coffer..

dragon sketch, i was thinking bloody pale tree.. and yes, what is all this red grawl paint splattered everywhere? are we raising the maturity level of the game along with adding more depth and intrigue? about time and finally, that ‘glow’ just seems to be ambient lighting.. it does however fall upon the parchment that is ?purposefully obstructed

I’m wondering, if we translated the text on the paper, would it actually say anything?

The mysterious object on the left resembles a coffin or chest to me as well. I think it is paint on the white “paper” because right above the marionette schematic on the wall is more of the red paint. It appears to be part of a drawing of some sort. Interesting

Achilles Heel?

Thinking it has something to do with COF and the flame legion, maybe she will form some sort of alliance? they both want to see the world burn :P

I’d assume the big wooden “X” is one of the controls for a marionette if you have ever seen one, that’s basically what they are. Although this marionette is a skyscraper of metal but nevertheless.

The chest/coffer on the left doesn’t look anything like molten alliance equipment. If it was theirs it’d be made of steel and have fire dripping off of it. Instead it’s made of stone with veins of pulsing lava. Now where have I seen that before? Hmm…

Last time was just a warmup. The scouting party. Now they’ve had two centuries to spawn in the Depths, and Scarlet is thumping on their door. It won’t be long now. Primordus is coming. Tyria will burn.

And we’re going to put out the fires.

Well for sure it is not Sylvari blood for those that have that idea… Reading the books, not spoiling the contents, Sylvari blood is not red like human blood.

Didn’t know u need to read books in order to know plants don’t bleed “red” :o

When i see the picture, I see an image taken form the ground. There is a chest on the left, some design papers on the ground at right, the wooden X are a table’s left legs and a nother paper full of blood on the wall.

In my opinion is a place where scarlet designed their stuff, and there was a big and bloody fight on it, resulting on papers on the floor and blood everywhere.

The reasons, who is implied, etc, i have no clue XD. We’ll see i guess.

Mother of god, it’s a steam logo (albeit sideways). Half-Life 3 confirmed!

Hug the wall to the right of the zone-out and you’ll pass through some brush into a little cave. This has been here since launch and marks the sealed off location of the Bloodstone Caves (which housed a bloodstone in GW1).

We don’t know if the bloodstone is still there, but there’s nothing that indicates otherwise.

That chest looks a lot like the destroyer stuff, and the weps ingame have that same kind of look to them. I’m guessing that were going to be seeing more of the big fire dragon in the future.
