Today lane lost, because warden which can be killed only from behind stick his back to wall and didn’t move, because aggro was on NPC, and since GW2 don’t have taunt skills – nothing can be done.

NPC? You mean pets/minions? Don’t use them.

Y’day I was killing the warden from the side, slightly more than a 90 degree angle. Warden was standing on the generator. Or mb i was just lucky…

Depends on whether the ranger knows what they are doing. I’ve seen some pets do exactly what OP is talking about basically ruining the fight. Not that I’m bashing rangers! My main is a ranger (though I usually go to Marionette as an ele).

NPC means NPC . Kid asura on golem.

Does taimi go on the platform then? Never seen taimi there….

Actually, they do.

But since there’s only one NPC per lane, it’s likely that only one platform gets the npc. I have at least seen Marjory and Braham on there. Never had the described problem though.

Not sure how much scaling happens but if you coordinate with everyone on the platform, you can work together to remove stacks of defiant.

Today had Taimi all alone on platform #1 vs Warden III…

…and she didn’t die!!!… but yea failed that attempt due to time, or I bet Taimi would win it, though just for curiosity’s sake I wonder if she’d attack the power regulator on her own? o_O

That’s weird. I’ve never seen the npc’s on the plats. If that’s true, I agree they should not be there.

Same. I have never seen them on the platforms. That’s why I think it’s a bug that they’re there in the first place. I have all NPC tags set to be visible so it’d be hard to miss them the 15+ times that I have done this.

tbh, I’ve only ever seen them when they were on my own platform. Never seen them on another platform.
