Guild Wars 2

Before I go into what this post is about, I thought I should share this funny GW2 moment with all of you fellow fans.

At the beginning of one of the Marionette events, my fellow guildees and I were talking on Teamspeak about Scarlet’s new creation:

Me: (upon seeing the Marionette for the first time) D___, that Marionette’s b____ are spikier than Madonna’s were back in the day!

Fellow guildee: (sings) Like a v____ … touched for the very first time…

Everyone breaks out in laughter.

Me: Thank you! That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking about since the Nightmare Tower! Toxic fumes = Love Potion No. 9… Scarlet toying with the heroes and then running away… She goes easy on all of us Engies… It all means one thing: Scarlet is desperate for a few good men! I mean, she’s going to need a bunch of engies to keep her machine empire up and running once she conquers the world… IF she conquers it.

So that lead me to write this post. From this point on, Scarlet Briar’s official anthem is Like a V___ from Madonna. I can definitely see Scarlet singing this song to that picture of Omadd that she has at her hideout. LOL. Personally I plan to play this song every time I have to fight that marionette.

Has anyone noticed that all of the Scarlet events feel more like a sports team try-out? Every time I fight her, I can’t help but think she’s testing the heroes to see who she can lure to the other side. It’s almost like a twisted form of the NFL tryouts.
