Do you really have to skip the cutscene just to get the “Marionette Dismisser” achievement?

If so, who thought that was a good idea?

No, it can be done before that cutscene. The second the last chain being severed appears on the thing, you can immediately cheer then and get it. That’s how I did it.

skip? lol no, i just got it and i did it before the cutscene appears, as Ryu said.

you failed and now you have to pay the price of watching a cutscene.

Thanks for the info. Still haven’t been to a successful Mari kill yet, but I’ll be sure to cheer as soon as I see the last chain being severed.

Yeah I missed it cuz I did after cutscene :< didn’t even know exact moment she died/was going to die. Wish the window was longer.

Some people missed out on it as well after this random overflow server finally managed to bring it down; even after me telling everyone in /y to do a /cheer immediately once the fifth chain went down.

So it would have been nice if the window for the /cheer could have been longer as I had to skip the cutscene and as such missed out on the cinematics.

Agreed. The window needs to be much longer. People were spamming /cheer like mad, but few of us got it . . . even when warned about the window.

It really does need an update.

Yeah, skipped it too in order to attempt the achievement. No go. Ended up watching it on YouTube.
