Because elemental weapons do highest damage and fiery greatsword pierces to the boss having a large amount of eles in the 50% zerg will significantly increase your damage.

if you’re not using firey rush properly then you’re not utilizing the dmg of fgs

Wurms mechanisms are to stack on people they argo this means they will stack on boss if you stack on boss and if you use aoe damage it is not hitting the boss it is most likely hitting the adds.

This cause a significant present loss when fighting the boss

It also would go with Anet theme death to zerging and stacking

and point of this wasn’t dps of fgs but not stacking wurm during burn phase
