Its probaly happened to most of us at one point but keep at it and it wont happen the majority of the time. Everything has its outages/quirks. If its a known issue and very widespread they will adress it. If anyone did the old karka event, DC’s were everywhere and guess what? Anyone who DC’d got a chest, some people even got mailed 2 chests on accidenet. If its a small number of people affected just deal with it and suck it up and do it again. I dont believe the event was meant to be done once and then move on. You are meant to do this event more than once and if one DC discourages you, you might have bigger motivation issues in life you should take care of because thats no way to think. It does stink but you still had the fun in interacting and hopefully you learned about the encounter. Also just because you were in that event doesnt mean it would be completed anyway. So yea, you did get cut short of some rewards, but there is another chance. Give it another try before you complain its totally broken. Its not. I did it.

Protip: Get a FRIEND <gasp> party, and if you d/c just join on him. If its full, spam harder. I Do this for Teq/This event and it worked. If you have no friends, im sorry but its time to get a guild or even write down names of some people in that overflow you could PM in case of a d/c. Or <Shock Horror> TYPE in map chat when you start “LFG Party for farming” etc, then if you d/c you will be in that party and can just join on them.
