It’s simple, people learn. It started with wanting to cry because the even failed and failed and on and on to being proud that people learn to play, dodge and use the game mechanics to beat the marionette many times in a row.

I really loved what anet did with this and split up the boring zerkfest that LS used to be into an actual event that requires a minimum of intelligence. Change is not perfect but it’s good.

Keep up the good work anet and you actually made something interesting enough to make me come back from a 7 months break. Now if we could only get an expansion :p.

The only thing I learned from the marionette is that disturbingly many people are too stupid to understand the simplest boss strategies. That and the permanent overflows make this Unliving Story release even more annoying that most releases before.

The marionette was a big success on the way world events should be. However it also makes more noticeable the big fails of the world event issues (overflows + players not participating in the event but using 1 slot of the maximum capacity for the map).

If those 2 issues could be fixed, the marionette is a win fight for 90% of the players. A lot of them learn, a lot others just love to fight her all over again and some other players just notice how important they can be (for good or bad) to the community.

I think people take this even to seriously, I was like everybody else in the beginning raging like a little kid but in the end the fun factor makes up for the rest. Yes I used the word fun but don’t take it to an extent out of it’s actual meaning.
