They don’t have anything to do with Scarlet. Its been a while since I did any Asura personal story but from memory they have something to do with the steam creatures.

The Steam creatures being commanded by Scarlet was conjecture. They are theorized to have been spawned by the Thaumanova fallout, and that was Scarlet’s doing as we all know, but she hasn’t been trying to command them.

Except every Scarlet invasion has a few of the watchwork portals spawning hordes of steam hulks, minotaurs and riders.

Then why are they part of her invasion forces?

Also, they were part of her forces that attacked the queen’s balloons.

They aren’t. The ones in Lornar’s Pass have always been there and have their own agenda. Steam isn’t Clockwork.

They are.
There are invasions on other maps, and there is a chance that Watchwork waves spawn Steam Creatures.

Just read the wiki and yes they have been added to Scarlet’s invasions. I haven’t seen them though so I didn’t know the Lore had been tweaked.

They haven’t been added.
They have been part of them since the very first day of the invasions.

They’ve been part of Scarlet’s forces, since before the clockwork forces.

Steam creatures are incidental to Scarlet’s invasions. Scarlet has special, high-concentration portal magic. When she unleashed high a high dose of portal magic on a zone, she unleashes her clockwork beasts, and in doing so, occasionally breaches our reality with an alternative (as we saw with the infinity ball).

Given the massive amounts of magic necessary to deploy the marionette, I too am a bit surprised now that you mention it. This probably should have elicited some version of steam creatures.

Well, where have I been? I played through that whole update.

Zojja have nothing at all to do with the Steam Creatures.

Sure, not right now. But give her another 70 years or so of nothing but terrible LS updates and she will exact her revenge.

Would it be fair to say that the steam creatures are specific and specialized for the sole purpose of her invasion plans?

Whenever Scarlet finishes her work, she always drops a big steam creature behind for someone else to clean up.

I got the impression that the steam creatures were sort of obsolete in Scarlet’s army. She’s progressed well beyond her initial invasion force, and the clockwork creatures she so willingly slaughters for a weapon test are far more competent.

3 more updates coming, i bet the steam machines are somewhere else and we’ll know how much millions of there we’ll kill soon.

Steam creatures are from an alternate reality created by your character if you chose an asura and the applicable storyline..
