Why am i forced???
I must have missed the part of the patch notes that said ‘If you do not take part in this event, then your account will be terminated’
I have no idea why you think this is not ok…after all, this is pretty much what they’ve been doing for a while now. You could have expected something like this.
hmmm strange… I know lots of them who didn’t go close to those events… must warn them their life is in dangerous…
I like the part where if you don’t complete things within the first few days of the initial rush, you can kiss your chances of getting any big events done goodbye.
OP has a point though, it’s Tequatl all over again, getting into German/French overflows, people just kittening about on kitten, should they scale this down just a little, make it a 25 or 40 man instanced thing, it’d be much better. Because right now what we’re getting is zerkers who dont know how to dodgeroll, and people who actually know what to do, harrasing those. They claim they wanted this game to be a social experience, yet, the core of the game, the GUILDS are graduattly being forgotten.
How should you rework this?
1. Stop feeding the Uber Casuals (Because thats what it is, Marionette isnt even hard)
2. Add instaced 10,25,40-100 events (Tequatl could be scaled down, Marionette too, Wurm aswelll)
3. Make these things worthwhile, add a loot table, (Not a reskin of ascended armor)
4. If loot tables arent your thing, then add a mark system, make weapons expensive, for example, a tequatl weapon skin could be 25 marks, you get 1 mark per time you kill him, and you’re only able to do him once.
Meanwhile, you can scale down the dificulty on bosses like Tequatl in open world, but make it so that every phase you get the bosses to, will reward a little more, and if you kill them, there is a fair chance to get a skin!
Cathered both to the Hardcores/Guilds AND the Casuals!
Ugh there’s more reskins of things? sigh
Yeap, wurm drops the Asc helm/shoulders, altough they have this green smoke effect, aside from that! He does have a rifle skin.. but.. it’s not that good looking in my opinion!
This.
It’s one of the biggest things GW2 is missing, is larger-scale content that’s tuned to a specific number of players. I want to be able to take 10 or 20 guildies and go kill something difficult and cool. Marionette is a really cool fight, but the fact that I can’t do it just with my guild is disappointing, randoms have too much power to make the event fail.
