In the Dulfy guide for Scarletts secret lair it say you first have to do the "Twisted Marionette event in Lornar’s Pass for the first time (win or fail both works), your Living World story in your top right corner will update and you will be asked to head to Lion’s Arch to enter a story instance. After completing the story instance, you will be tasked with finding Scarlet’s Secret Lair, which is also an achievement called The Secret Lair. "

I have failed the event in Lornars Pass 3 times now. Same character. My Living world box has not updated and I cannot proceed. Is Dulfy wrong or is there a bug that won’t allow me to continue through to the story?

Are you getting credit for the event? At least 1 chain severed (I’m assuming is required)?

Failing the event does progress the story, at least it did yesterday. If you’re not paying attention, the tracker shows 2, one for bloodtide coast and the other for lornar’s pass. Only one will change when completing the marionette.

Have you done a worm attempt?

You have to partake in the platform event, you don’t have to succeed at anything, every single lane can fail and you’ll still get credit as long as you go on the platform (at least it did for me and I went on the platform so I’m assuming that’s what got it)

Try placing yourself on the southern most route. The one with Taimi. Im pretty sure that’s the one that gets to go up onto the platforms first.

That wasn’t necessary for me. The first time I went there it was so late in the event that it wasn’t actually possible for me to get to a platform. Event failed, daily updated and the ‘catch up in LA’ thing showed up.

Hi guys. It (the status) changed after restarting client. Not sure why it didn’t update straight away. Thought I would mention in case anyone else has the same problem.
