As you have yet to fully master playing thief without using stealth, I suggest you try out Loki. He can go invisible, backstab, and even has a teleport to pick people off or escape. Then you can spam [VEL] after killing someone because that is Smite’s version of /laugh.
I mainly play carries and tanks (usually Apollo because pew-pew and Ymir because he’s kitten Ymir). I can make a new lowbie account this weekend if you want to party up, that way you won’t have to go up against a team full of level 30’s while you’re still learning.
Also, gosh aren’t you so excited about WvW leagues starting?

ArenaNet has even made us a new map so we’ll no longer have to wait in queue! Instead of waiting in queue all day we can hang out there and give them feedback with other Gate of Madness WvW guilds! So lots to do! No more Smite!

Did you know that the last couple of times I logged into WvW, people there TRIED TO KILL ME? I swear, these WvW folks are all a bunch of savages and I bet hardly any of them even have full ascended gear. Come, let us buy new backpack skins from the gem store and laugh at these peasants as we discuss Tequatl strategies!

Hear that? People in tier 1 are being left out! This is sooo sad!
Thankfully ArenaNet is focusing on this super important problem and fixing it! I’m gonna go buy gems right now to support the thousands of people who have to sit in queue every day!

Edit: I make fun but it really is too bad there are no empty WvW maps anywhere on any server for the thousands of people in queue to go. We should have seen this coming.

I’m very happy for China tier 1.
5 hour queues on Gate of Madness at launch turn out had nothing to do with the reality a year later either though.
To be fair, I think they’d prefer to do things as simple as possible season 1. I’d like to see your idea for season 2. Definitely another set of pre-season transfers would hurt a lot of server communities further (how many people have transferred because their server is tanking/not tanking? Screwed if you do, screwed if you don’t).
Normally I don’t post on that thread, but I really liked the proposal, especially the guesting between servers of the same team, since they would have the same goal in common, less abuse guaranteed… that would help out AR a lot for sure and makes the fights more challenging Except if there are some special hostility between 2 servers, or guilds, it might create some drama… but anything is better than all those transfers.

Queues. I know this word (although it is spelled oddly), and it’s use, but I have no context with which to apply it to my WvW gaming experience on AR. Odd that Anet would address a thing that some of us never experience, yet leave truly impactful matters to gather dust (like, new clothes for those poor Skrit….I mean have you SEEN what they are forced to wear!?!? Heartbreaking…..). O.o

It was spammed a ton all over the forums shortly before Devon’s QA session, and one forum poster was kind enough to post it during the actual QA session for me while I was at work. Like I’ve said, it’s basically a huge compilation of fantastic ideas that have been posted before by many different people. My only contribution was to unify them into one singular voice. As much as I LOVE these ideas, I can’t take credit for them.
Except if there are some special hostility between 2 servers, or guilds, it might create some drama… but anything is better than all those transfers.
