The queues on TC are insane. 5 Hours into reset and all BL’s were queued, with EB being over an hour still. Will be interesting to see how many PvE players this will pull into WvW.

Actually it got to be a 30 minute queue… But only for EB. Also Thanks to all the PvE people I’m done with the achievements for killing enemies. You guys are lovely, just a pro don’t go full berzeker gear, this is not a farm raid you have to think about damage dealt (by 20-80 depending on Zerg size) vs damage received (by the individual). A group of 20 wearing full soldier armor focusing damage on 1 spot with berserkers will down then extremely quick.

EB is going to have the longest queue on tc hands down all week. Blue map had the longest queue (and the most DCs/problems) of the borderlands, topping out at 2 hours right after reset, and quickly fell off to about 15-3o minutes.

Holy kitten what a zergfest last night. If anything has ever convinced me not to ever transfer to T1 it was the lag in the those fights. How can anyone enjoy that kitten? It’s like stonemist except everywhere, it feels like I’m moving through mud and skills fail to go off. And its not even in the zergs, but happens everywhere from the sheer amount of load the server has. Woo it’s like being CC’d for an entire roaming session!
The score was so tight last night because coverage was equal for all servers. Every BL was queued on Mag until about 12AM CST. That’s unheard of for Mag. Albeit most of them were probably PvErs doing achievements, but still they make a good distraction. We still have absolutely no oceanic (i’ve heard rumors on the Mag forum that one may have been spotted a few nights ago on Mag, we need screenshot to confirm though) so that sorta explains why TC pulled ahead in SEA time. I’m quite a bit surprised we’re ahead of SoS though, as I thought they had a massive oceanic crew.

One thing that really surprised me though was the performance of GF in SoS BL. In one instance, Niim and I were in the JP together and engaged a hammer war and guard from GF by the vault. The 2v2 went for awhile since we were hammer war/guard also. Then another guard and another hammer war from different TC clans joined the fight. We managed to focus down the GF war 2v4 and finish off the rest in a timely manner. I wrote it off to just some off-play by GF since I’ve fought them in the past and know they usually have decent players.
But then something else strange happened. Most of my guild buddies logged off early for the night but I found 4 more randoms to run with from different guilds I’ve never heard of before, probably PvE guilds. Some of them were not guilded, and one of them was an uplevel too. Anyway we met a roaming group of 3-4 GF + 2 from another clan that I hadn’t heard of and, as a pug group with an uplevel, we managed to just streamroll this GF party in like 20 seconds flat. They came back 3-4 more times and just getting mowed down before giving up. I think it was an ele, glassy char hammer war and norn hammer war from GF and a D/P thief and staff mesmer from this other guild.
Did GF start mass recruiting from LA or run with PvE gear last night or something? I don’t really understand how a pug group was allowed to just steamroll through an organized GF party.

Was it Galaxy Fire GF or Good Fights GF? There be 2 of us guilds on TC only ask because none of those characters sound familiar to me.
Most of SoS that chose Gold league don’t want to hit doors so we kinda ignored Mags BL for most of Oceanic… we just constantly farmed TC bags on EB for hours and hours instead LOL.
This match in EBG I ‘ve learned so much about how to actually play this game. I learned that it’s best to just jump in, smash 11111111 and hope for the best. Utilities? No need, you can’t activate them anyway. Clear that bar off.
Mistfire wolf is great because you can activate it before the fight when you might have a chance for your elite to go off, and it travels faithfully by your side until it gets blasted apart by the first .2 seconds of AOE spam.
A true test of one’s skill and prowess in the game. Really enjoying this so far.

Sounds a bit odd. The jumping puzzle is odd. I only know of 1 GF member that is a master at JP’s or goes there and he plays mesmer or thief most times.
I don’t think (not 100% sure) we have any Charr anythings in the guild at all or at least not any character that is played much. I didn’t play last night cause dat Queue so it wasn’t any of my characters.

So I’m well aware and in support of ppt not being the ultimate objective but I’m curious. Would a 2v1 actually work in this matchup? Out of the seven weeks, this would seem to be the only real shot of playing out anet’s ideal situation and it possibly succeeding. Personally, I think it would be a good challenge for both sides: TC defending against a constant rotating NA and SEA/Oceanic presence and SoS and Mag trying to keep their troops organized.
I have to give a shout out to KH from TC, you guys are an absolute pain to deal with but i have to thank you for wiping us over and over again. It’s better to reinforce the notion that the new PvE’ers who are testing Wvwers to get tankier gear and training in WVW if they are repeatedly wiping.
