I got no idea who is frustrated here. I only pointing out number you see when you awake. So if you are an oceanic defender maybe we should meet up and have a nice chat some time in the future. I`d throw in some coffee and cake or a meat pie for dinner. There`s a big difference between being in bed when you loose to a big blob vs. being actually there trying to defend it….for several months now, some a lot longer.
Been doing it for a long time so no probs on my side. Was only amused because in the past we used to loose this to mags. Guess tc just gets up earlier.

Me as well, reset night was kinda tough. Had my kitten handed to me a few times by the VR & Inc/Ark on Mag BL … but gave some back. Always good to pick your self up and punch ’em square back in the kisser.

Great fun, but so tired, because well … stayed up later than I should, RPing a wvw player and all.

I don’t care what anyone says this week. I’m having a blast, I can’t even get angry about losing to Maguuma. Mostly because they have to take back months of talk about not playing for PPT (got a taste of it, now they are hooked).
Seriously, even the losing fights aren’t too frustrating.

Most of the frustration comes from the folks who are new to WvW and are not willing to learn how to play; but we all have farmed a few gold off of those folks from all three servers this weekend I’m sure.

I’ll give credit to Maguuma, I’m seeing the fewest number of those from them.

Our secret lies with belittling and harassing them until they transfer off.

For clarities sake there is a PvE GF guild that was on TC before we got here. Ive seen them in WvW more lately trying to get achieves. Also I rarely play my thief. If you see an asuran necro running around WvW you can safely assume its me.

lol True. But I am a mediocre player that has killed him many times 1v1 so really I’m just encouraging him to brag less but it is wasted effort i’m sure.

Full zerker is bad and full PVT is bad. You need a mixture. Frontline needs survivability. Some DPS can afford to go zerker and survive due to mechanics. The classes that don’t have those mechanics need a sturdy front line to control ground so they can use intelligent positioning to survive.

They can go zerker, but when you fight people enough they learn to know who is squishy and who is not. You will get focused and killed if you are a non-cheese class in zerker gear unless you have a good support crew in survivability gear that can peel and heal.

Perhaps there is some confusion in what I said. Yes, someone in zerker gear can be viable in pretty much every setting. Groups or guilds full of zerkers are not viable unless they have a numbers advantage.

Here is an example of a guild group in almost entirely zerker gear.

Nearly every one of these fights the groups are clumped up like idiots, if you cant spread out, surround your target and use defensive utilities you deserve every death. I’m glad you are still doing your vids Oozo, I enjoy stopping on to your channel to watch a couple now and then.

If what I was looking for was to rustle your jimmies then I guess I did succeed but I was really just trying to put into perspective the “Three Mag vs every TC on the map” comment. Trying to inject a little reality and reason into the usual “We are the greatest players in the world” delusions.

Just a quick question: Since TC is kicking our booties in points, why do they always run from open field fights, esp. when they outnumber the Mag groups? It’s frustrating to see 40+ TCs run into a Tower, away from 20~ Mags chasing them.

Every server has it’s runners that’s a fact, I’ve seen SoS ,Mag and TC do it. It is frustrating though I’ll give you that.

You didn’t figure it out reset night? They send 1 guy ahead to pretend they’ll 1v1 you. Then they bring in the other 8 guys so they can be proud they made somebody laugh at them.

Well, it’s really just…I logged on after breakfast and EBG was queued…so I was like…ah well, let’s tag up on SoSBL. I was gonna leave after the tower coz my queue popped, but they told me to stay.

So there went SoS Bay, SoS Hills, (My queue popped again…I stayed once more), SoS Garri (Which I thought was going to take multiple pushes but didn’t)…SoS Bay again.

Then, went and took Mag Bay, had lunch. Had a few goes on draining up Mag Hills before CERN finally flipped it. Took a few swipes at Garri after, but eh, that was a long shot.

Anyways, if you’re curious as to why I tend to be rather silly and happened to run from you if you tried to hit me in the field…ah, I don’t have a mic, and almost everyone with me had no voice comms when we did all that. We did have a guild group on our flanks for the field stuff, which was quite nice, but a fair bit of the siege work was my beloved militia. There’s only so much you can ask of militia, and I find no shame in working within those limits when I’m not running with my guild. =3

Laugh about siege creeps and overkill all you like. I’ve got a big handicap managing all my people purely through text, and asking my toon to stand in the clutch and live through the bombs while I type. When I’m tagged up…fact of the matter is, I don’t care. Just ask JQ about those 33 Omega Golems on Bay last Wednesday.

Sigh…I never did get into EBG. ;-;

Anyways, good on Maguuma for holding on to that NW Tower and Garrison. I won’t be around tomorrow morning, but I’m hoping one of our more usual EU commanders is going to be online and actually running voice and stuff. Maybe they’ll have more luck. =P

Not sure if SBI or FA deserves or wants it, but SoS most certainly(as predicted) can’t hang.

I do give SoS credit for having an organized EBG. While Mags does well on the BLs, looks like SoS put all their chips into doing well on EBG. Last nite, SoS was running over TC for a good hour.

The only bad decision I saw was when we were having a 3 way SM fight. SoS decided to try and gank us on the North hall. We ended up wiping them, and then having to retreat when TC rushed us after.

You guys got into a 3 way SM where you could actually choose to pvp? Must have been lucky, I was struggling for 1 to go off the only time we tried a 3 way SM.

Ah…I guess it was getting late for them. No guild group fully revved up and comped should be getting trampled by 20 militia with no voice comms and zero stacking for any buffs!
