Most of my guild on JQ have decided to take the week off.
Between long broken queue system, the non stop karma farms, and the players that run when a fight starts, and huge ppt lead causing no extra insentive to continue playing, this week is just no fun.

My hopes is a solution to the queue system is found quickly, and most of the AC hunters get their AC’s and head back to pve lands, or at the very least learn how to follow the commander when things deviate from PvD

Sounds like you got your behinds kicked a few times too many. As for a “solution to the queue system” – just move to a server that isn’t full to the brim.

The only time I saw pyro come out of garri to give jq a good fight was when agg snuck up behind jq and caught them line dancing. otherwise, it was bagswag all night.

I wish you could post the hour of footage before we had to go leave for bay =) There was some very good fighting, I don’t think we had anyone recording though. CND guild was rushing S door and we had to go defend. I like the commentary! That particular fight AGG came in from somewhere with a 15man or so and mixed it up in the middle for a bit too.

I only started playing a few weeks before the transfer, I thought FOO was already on JQ before that.

Yes they were, FOO were here before that. Remember Magikarp was SoS before BG so I am sure its all a blur to him.

Oh I remember JQ’s SEA coverage quite well, back when SoS/SBI/JQ the match in SEA was MERC v FOO v WM (3 guilds 3 maps) (EB was pugs back then for all servers). SoS got ND towards the end as SBI died and then JQ got 4 map coverage SEA. MERC and AFS batten down the hatches for the coming onslaught of WM/FOO which used to fill a map with their own member alone and we would attempt to weather the storm inside our hopefully fortified keeps enjoying strategies like this; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYjq_xLeOLg shenanigans.

It indeed was a blur, I’m sure many of the MERC member’s now on JQ remember the insane amount of guilds JQ suddenly had in the SEA time slot, we we’re constantly amazed at each night finding at least 2-3 new guild tags each night for about 2 weeks.

Ge, Val, DC, VwV, TKG, EXI, OMEN, many more I have forgotten.

It was the first super-stack of T1, prior to this queues didn’t really exist, maybe the map that MERC/FOO/WM was on but that was it, not anymore ;P the good ole days.

Yup. those were fun times for sure. Some of the fights against SoS were tough. Since I am EU I got to play with FOO when I had days off. Great fights against MERC. That January recruitment push was certainly interesting, the whole thing kinda snowballed out of control given it was just before free transfers ended. Momentum overkill and a monster was created.

Actually queues were present back in HoD/SBI/JQ days as well in the first few weeks of the game going live.

Who are you referring to? No one has offered AoN gold that I know of yet.

I’m suprised about this. AoN is one of the most skilled small may groups out there. Especially since they know how to work well with their commanders. I would pay for them to come to SoS if it wasn’t against my morals (and their morals too).

We are in EB trying to pull JQ away from SM so another server can cap it. SoS and Mag zerg SM please!

Troll off: Altogether it’s been a pretty fun match-up. Highlights the severe oceanic coverage problems that mag has, but the NA fights have been quite fun all around.

Troll on: LOL, never in my life have I seen such an ocean of baddie key-board turners depositing their loot bags into our waiting arms. I had to upgrade my bags repeatedly for fear of losing loot on the fly, you cost me hundreds of gems JQ!

Mag likes to say “zergbusting” when we know we are outnumbering a group and that it’s just not a fair fight for them. JQ likes to actual internalize that as a win and then post about it. T1 #1 #t1

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure zergbusting originated as a term for the 10-15 mans that would run decent builds and bust the larger zergs.

Obviously generalizing a server but look at the OP question and answer. That PPT chart is so important for T1.

Also the fact that yesterday we had their garri for 6+ hours till sleep time? (I wasn’t there the whole time). They might have liked to train it but I don’t think Mag is that interested in karma this match. Badges yes.

On a personal level I myself and the majority of SF have been in sPvP since Saturday morning when we are active. We dislike a constant Karma train and it’s garbage that all of these players are such glory hounds for their acheivements that it wrecks my favorite part of the game. I would prefer to have my open field fights, call proper tactics against anyone. I have members disgusted at how this matchup is turning out including myself.

If you want your kitten WvW XP kittenin’ earn it. Instead we have 3 servers with a bunch of players that don’t know what they are doing kitten ing in circles jerking each other off, figuring out how to run through portals of keeps and towers that are not their color.

Life is pretty rough in T1.

I don’t see how it benefits us-only JQ. I say live with the queues and the slow rate of getting achievements since there is not much to take.

I’m completely ambivalent on this.
I’m disgusted that we are part of letting JQ off the hook for buying guilds and overstacking and I’m equally disgusted that we have queues in the middle of the day, our least populated timezone(s), for this but we can’t get those same people out for a real matchup.

At the same time, it beats burnout from spawncamping and will clean our own PvE focused folks out of the way so we stop giving away so many free rallies.

I guess it is what it is and this is yet ANOTHER reason why leagues is a losing idea and should not have been implemented.
