So all trash talk aside, my take on these 2 servers

Magumma: To be honest mag has some good blobbing guilds, had some good gvg’s and fights with VR and Ark (before they got interrupted) They also have some decent roamers in Aon even though you guys tend to run in groups far larger then a typical roaming group ( apart from Aon all the mag roaming guilds are terrible, just look at swag lolololol)

FA: Has by far the worst player skill per player of any server ive faced (and i think ive faced everyone but T1 at this point.) Just awful on every level, from large group to small man to solo. I dont think FA is tanking this matchup i just think there so terribad that when they cant zerg down another group 3 to 1 they just get crushed

Yak’s Bend. FA is terrible, but I have yet to see another server as sad as YB.

Yak’s Bend is definitely a contender. they are pretty awful lol

Those guys who tried to hit mag keeps a couple hours ago and didn’t even destroy any of the siege on outer when their golems broke in before they threw themselves at inner.

If they all left EB, doesn’t that only mean that they only had enough people to field one BL. There is a cap on people for each team per map.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the fights this week. It was nice to need to defend and spend time in our own BL. There was always something to do, always someone to fight.

they’ll either get bannered or they act as bait to get more downed. not much point in stomping unless they’re downed off to the side somewhere.

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to point out here? Yes, the maps have a cap. We brought golems to their BL, they left EB to come defend, their stuff in EB gets taken. I don’t see how a map cap has anything to do with that.

I have great optimism for SBI’s future, if there is anything SBI gained from this weeks amazing matchup it has to be a greater sense of community, most created from their common enemy being maguuma. Also they should have an accurate perspective of where they now stand. Best of luck to you guys in the upcoming leagues if you’re in gold league I definitely think you will pick up a lot from Tarnished Coast, as I think they closely resemble your server as they also depend on guild groups working together.

I’d like to thank SBI for what has been a very educational week. Here’s what I learnt:

1) Don’t try to second guess the SBI commanders. Olaf had me completely baffled when he rammed down the outer gate of SM… then backed out and ran around to the hole in the wall his own team had reported 10 minutes earlier. Obviously I have a lot to learn from him.

2) over encumbered is a hilarious way to die. I never thought I’d have to tell the guys to use a vendor in the middle of a fight, but hey! sbi provides.

3) Whoever has said you can’t make money in WvW has never fought SBI since the blobbening.

4) Whenever you’re feeling lonely, nothing beats a few AC’s in the SM lord room to ensure SBI sends all their plebs to a lonely death, followed by their commander going “why didnt you follow me” as he runs out the gate again.

5) Turns out, you can get more then 25000 kills a week. Thanks SBI!

This has been the most evenly matched week I’ve seen, so it seems pretty obvious that the imbalance in score is due to all the points SBI has scored with bloodlust kills.

thank you to the 2 maguuma who offered us some 2v2s, we enjoyed ourselves. pretty great fights this week.

I contributed to your fall. Even though we did not face you, we were the last major guild to leave Darkhaven, which is why I ask which guild was from that server and now resides on SBI. We skipped both DH and SBI I believe, but I’m curious who mystery guild could possibly be.

Idk there’s not much curiosity. You’ll lose to TC, settle as 5th. I don’t think people care about you getting stomped, it’s just fun to talk trash to bandwagon servers. We did it to Kain, DB as well.

We used to make fun of TC a lot, but they luckily mellowed out and stopped being siege-hungry tower sitters. Now they’re the most fun server we fight after they fought t1 a lot and a chunk of their population realized PPT doesn’t mean anything.

I see SBI going one of two ways: either you fizzle out your fairweathers when the reality of PPT being meaningless hits and the slow transfer trickle begins, or your guilds start playing for PvP like TC started to do.

No one at SBI knew how many transfers we were going to get. We started with KWBH, and most thought that was who we were getting. And then more and more guilds came. Our only goal is to be competitive whereever we ended up.

We never claimed to be T1, we never claimed to want to be in T1. We just want to have fun. Most of the boasts you see about SBI seem to come from other servers. xD

Thank you Mag and FA. You two were our toughest match-ups thus far. You’ve opened our eyes to what’s to come. You’ve made us better by pushing us. At times SBI got discouraged, but we never quit. You showed us what we can do when we for once just roll with the punches and fight back. SBI has potential. All kitten talking aside, I think I speak for more than myself here when I say that this was the most fun match-up I’ve had since I began playing GW2 in August. Our guild came from DH, but I think there were one or two more also (smaller guilds).

We were planning a transfer before leagues were even announced. Our officers scouted servers for a few weeks before we all made a decision on which server to move to. When we moved, SBI was #11 I believe.

SBI has a great community, and we are very happy where we are. DH didn’t have the WvW community we were looking for, it’s a PvE server, which is why we wanted to move in the first place.

After spending all the gold to move the guild to SBI, I doubt we hitched to a “bandwagon”. We have a lot of members, and I believe everyone is enjoying themselves, much more than we were before.

I agree, this was the most fun I have had in a while also. When FA or Mag saw our group in the open field, they wouldn’t tuck tail and run, they stayed to fight.

We need this resets matchup to be Maguumybears, SoS, and SBI as a grand exit to the rng matches. Would probably be very even, SBI won’t be able to dominate night time anymore due to SoS’s night time presence and maguuma will pressure SBI’s NA presence so it could really be anyones game.

If anyone isn’t able to be in game and has the ability to stream, we are trying to keep our stream up fairly regularly. We mainly do small man roaming with no more than 8.
