Last time we played vabbi it was the same scenario (vabbi &fow); ros held all the maps most of the week; every time I logged in to see what was going on everything was green with 600 points or thereabouts.

As for the numbers; ros needed a boost as I stated in previous posts numbers were down because guilds/people had moved to other servers. when the next reset happens on Saturday morning my time zone the extra & returning players may well be needed to combat sides like fsp, blacktide, rof or whoever are matched up against ros.

As for camping in supplies camps etc; right or wrong it happens. Millers Sound did exactly that to us the one time we came up against them. Players camped in supply camps, towers & keeps. Understand the frustration though because if its like the experience ros had we got steam rolled most times we tried to recapture anything and to make things worse players disappeared when the going got tough not to be seen again until the following match up.

pahaha cant ros really take a tower if it’s get defended by 4 dudes without using trebs/golems. loved to see how the commander makes the same mistake twice and waste 5 guild catapults.

Haha; ros has captured towers numerous times without golems & trebs. What can you do if a commander decides to attack a tower a certain way? Assuming the ‘4 dudes’ held them off? cata’s are good if you cannot get to the gate safely to place rams. small number of players can hold off larger groups if they have their defense set up, it’s not uncommon.

Also had some good fights with a couple of Impact guys who were on RoS, again didn’t get your names. Both of you were running mesmers, one of you was a champ illusionist and the other a champ paragon I think. Thanks for the fights.

Thats Hilarious. Good old WSR. They had a “good” week last week and still lost by more then 80,000points hahaha

:P i think we both agree fow won because of their nightcapping. we mostly had the upperhand during the normal times.

Youguys had a kitten good weekend, and even during the weeks fow was not even on the EB map. So it’s not just nightcapping. It seems your server during the week more players had something else to do or they were just pve-ers getting their daily and after that leave wvw. If we had a nightteam there would be something red in EB today for us right now :P

I imagine since I left FoW is a much darker place. I was the sunshine.

I’m beginning to see servers purely as placeholders. What makes a server unique or why does a wvw player want to fight for the server he or she is on?

RoS should count themselves lucky this week, neither Vabbi or WSR have a fair fight, other than each other of course. RoS have it easy, boring but easy, we have it hard, extremely hard. Neither Vabbi or WSR can pull numbers this week and thats why your bored.

It’s a PvE / sPvP week here soo… its not a total loss :P

I just wanna point out that one-sided matchups aren’t fun for the winning side either, so you shouldn’t say RoS is lucky.
I kinda understand why you’d think that, since you’re in Vabbi and you can’t outnumber any other server.

On totally silly matchups I personally prefer to be on the outnumbered side. More fights.

Yeah fair call; I was thinking about the potential points you see at the top of the screen anytime logged into world vs world – instead of being say 545 points like it is today the potential score had dropped down to the low 300’s, the game at that stage was not one sided.
Think about this, some of us may want to see your servers doing well & competing. Not quite sure why we should consider ourselves lucky though, if this round was a fair fight 24/7 and ros did not come out on top so be it.
Vabbi could not pull numbers last time we played each other so I assume this is an ongoing problem. Bored? far from.

Haha – use whatever means necessary. Think it was aborstone last week which had set up a treb down the gully between orgewatch & pangloss to treb veluka. Also been trebbed from Danelon passage before while trying to defend Langor.

I’m curious if RoS can win bronze. With so many bandwa… transfers coming, I wonder if it’s enough.

kitten ed if we do & kitten ed if we don’t? Ros are in need of more people so we can have a chance against higher ranked servers otherwise the match ups will be against vabbi & wrs, fow all the time leading to these stupid one sided matches, unless Anet promote free transfers to the fore mentioned servers too or combine them into one……
There is no pleasure in winning lopsided matches (at least not for me).
should it matter where players/guilds decide to play? without being labeled?
My first week playing WvW was on the Piken Square server which I decided to try during the free transfer week earlier this year as i wanted to see the difference in PvE numbers, guess it makes me a ‘bandwagoner’ to for going to back to my original server lol

Had a great time tonight on home border, ran into lots of very cool people from vabbi ^^
Spent far too much time running around with my kite but who cares when the match up is this one sided.

Well this week shows us what is to come, in fairness the whole free transfers has made things way more difficult for Vabbi and WSR, people aren’t willing to come to vabbi because it is last so all these guilds are bandwaggoning on to the next highest medium server, seeing BT war on RoS did make me laugh though :p
Anyways good luck with leagues although right now I think you stand a decent chance at winning

to be honest im impressed on how well vabbi can hold onto stuff when against superior odds the other day we had to treb bravost from valley just to get near the gate if you guys keep that up you might one day get the transfers you need to get to higher tiers

Who says we want to get into higher tiers? I came from a high tier and believe me… you don’t want to be there. WvW is full of zergs there, at least here we have a lot of roamers.

i am originaly from a higher tier but i was complementing you cant you just accept it XD

Not played much wvw this week, due to being stuck on another server, Didn’t realise how many zerg guilds had moved down here.

Guess people just want to win the league and hence take the easiest route possible by transferring to bronze.

I moved to vabbi to avoid the zerg guilds but forgot they always come down here when they need to feel special…
