But seriously though I think you missed the concept behind what I was saying, we originally thought it was just gonna be in good friendly fun, not something where we get all trashy about it which clearly showed just in simple 1v1, who really wants that sort of sportsmanship amplified by 10?

If GvG is all about I beat you and you beat me and “X” guild is bad then I personally don’t see anything fun about that. Maybe there would be more GvG guilds if the GvG community didn’t come off so ……. Immature, I guess is the word. (not saying all guilds do)

Pretty much every sentence you quoted was followed up with something to put it in context. Are you saying any of those reasons are untrue? It wasn’t meant to be insulting…it takes a bit different and extra theory crafting for GvGs and there is a definite learning curve that you’d have to expose your guild to. That exposure points out weaknesses that guilds won’t see in WvW and helps guilds become better. It’s a good tool a lot of guilds use to improve and gage progress.

Since I doubt I’ll be on tomorrow, and since this is the last time we’ll see FA in a while (hopefully), thought I’d post a few shout-outs. Spent most of my time dueling, and there were quite a few good players on both sides.

-RET condi/perplexity ele (too bad our duels got interrupted as I finally entered a win streak against you)

-FA p/d condi thief and s/p hybrid thief (I forget what guild you were in, but you swapped builds a few times on me)

And many, many more. Also shout-outs to TKA/BLOB/TUNE/BURN for the trolling and fights. Always impressed by HOPE in GvG, and always good to see familiar CORE faces.

I’ll miss the duels, but here’s to not seeing each other again for a long, long time!

Well, I had fun duels this matchup, overly disappointed with FA (not limited to the previously noted “troll” guilds) but not everyone will have fun against an overall bad server.

Had lots of fun with my secksy friends from CORE, my very secksy friends from RET (<3) and my slightly less secksy friends from TG (few rude members here and there).

Fun fights all around in the arena, very exciting 3v3 vs [WB] and tons a fun!

To CORE and HOPE you guys really need to stop challenging MEND these guys were wiping hard to WS/TUNE/BURN AKA BLOB we had a grand total of 13 people in channel vs I’m gonna say 20 easy. You guys would just be bored fighting them. Hell we threw in a champion on their side one time and they still didn’t even down a guy. That MEND leader must be a pleasure in TS or something cause wiping that hard isn’t my idea of fun. They clearly don’t want a piece cause they would get WRECKED!!!!

I can see his frustration, deciding to fight a 2v1 then dying only to be danced on, I wreckon good on jay for being a ranger and still trying to 1v2 a war and guard instead of running away till it was a 4v2
