I absolutely enjoyed every second of the “non-blobbing Piken” on Jade Sea border tonight , i mean not like you had 3 guilds under one tag or anything. God forbid you engage on anyone as individual guilds, that is so 2012.
Many , many respects to VII and HoB , and for the rest of you GJ at killing everything Piken was.

The reset is always blobby for everyone. Let’s keep it clean, please.

Piken is fine and can provide pretty good and quality battles for every taste if you know where to look for them.

And yes part of piken have changed in time like all server due to server hoppers and other reasons but still can provide good fights no need to cry while BB/JS blops are way bigger.

I dare to say that Piken is still one of the best EU servers when its about good fights and organized GvG action.

Sadly that new build has stopped all that fun in Jade Borderland. It has been a while since baruchians hadn’t seen such a good fighters as Pikens. Normally we beat other server blobs, but night we got owned a good amount of times. Hope during the week it gets less and less blob.

come on Baruch, you’ve got to win this matchup, if you do, then there’s a good chance you can finally knock Vizunah off of the number 1 spot.

and then losing it to a night blob

I’m pretty sure you did not understand my post quite proper since your response is semi off subject.
The specific blob that inspired it was tonights 60-80 man zone lagging INC Necr + GH one. Nobody is patronizing/underestimating any of the mentioned guilds individually , whose game-play , in rare occasions , we got to see first-handedly.
As one of Pikens ex residents as well as the ex member of , nowadays, a blobbing guild , I am fully aware of every single thing that made Piken more then a great server and it saddens me to see the essence of it gone. We definitely had decent numbers which was still less then a half of what Piken ran tonight on Jade Sea. With all of that said, i still see no complaints in my post or anything other then stating pure facts and wondering what the hell has happened.
P.S We would be more then happy to arrange a GvG against GH this week.

i hope we’ll have a nice fighting week , last one was a good one for me with Baruch Bay but Kodash was a bit “out of the game” (i’m not blaming them, it’s a hard time for every server with sunshine, holydays, etc etc…)

To claryfy what you saw was Piken Square open raid build from players which guilds dont raid at Friday that could confuse You. But no worries that happend only at reset and is tirth raid like that. By rest of week you will see ours guilds raid separetly fighting zergs as usual.

On JS map we had 2 raids, 1 open raid mention above we can safe name it pug wb following my tag and GH raid reinforced by around 10 players form INC (as their commander is on holliday) and some regulars with tag off.

Sorry if you guys had to fight for fortyfications to get it undercontrol instead just flood and get it in PvD mode. Whole evening we control separte position and there was just few situation when one raid call for help to another.

I’m not sure if what was following Rich (untagged) was 60-80 total, but we had a decent blob with us all right.
I don’t know what numbers Khrum was running (tagged) on the same BL but afaik they had decent numbers too. And indeed it wasn’t a coordinated effort between INC, Necr, GH and then some, it’s just as Khrum said – some guilds do not have raids at Fridays and overall Piken’s reset nights are packed numbers-wise. During the week you should see INC and GH raids separately lead by their commanders (not sure about Necr). But you probably wont see GH purely alone since we always seem to have at least some pickup though running untagged most of the time.

Just putting it out there to tag this thread so I can find it quickly later

after reading a lot of your posts on the thief forums, i’ve really been wanting to get a chance to see you in action first hand. (no, not that kind of action, and no, not with the cows….. i know how the minds of some of the people reading this are wired…..)

if you’re interested, i’d like to set up a duel. granted, you’ll probably smack me around, but it should be fun none the less. the only problem is that i’m in NA(north america, not narcotics anonymous glares at the people thinking about the cows….), and tend to be on later at night. even still, i’d like to at least make an attempt to set something up. send me a whisper in game.

i somehow knew we were going to fight Piken this week regarding the order server i wasnt so sure though. Still..Jade blobs another week -.-

Go to the character selection screen, hit “World Selection” and get your facts right.

Cant there ever be a normal Match-Up thread about good fights, Epic experiences aso. Every single week this kitten about Blob,Zerg,who’s biggest its beyond old and boring now.

Yes Piken is clearly less populated then JS & BB but who cares ? More for us to kill, wont ever be lack of enemies so stop complaining.

And this Blob, Zerg thing do Pikens really Think you not doing it ? Piken isnt what it once was and will most likely never be again. Guilds team-up and servers Zerg each other there is nothing to do about it, it wont stop so no Point in whining about it anymore. All servers in highers tiers have this and if u Think Piken dosent stop get your heads out of the sand, some Piken Guilds are so big now there a bloddy Zerg or the own so stop complaining abut other servers. Only GL can change that and lets face it, most wont as long as loot & kills keep comming.

From Piken since start, never left, and can honestly say Piken aint Piken any longer

The little time I spent on Piken border yesterday… Just ugh. So laggy it was unplayable most of the time. We attacked a camp with 3 guys (no enemies other than regular guards) and had 5+ seconds skill delay, damage numbers that wouldnt show up and warping/animation lag all over the place. Hell it was less laggy when 50 people smacked into each other!

Piken do not blob is just coordinated action of teen 5 man grups to counter enemy

funy think is no one from Piken start QQ about zergs all taht come from you guys. From players who invented massive grups of players to conquer even camp. Please focus on good fight and start compalin about smoethink what you do best, there be big grups, there will be skill lag becouse it is high tier matchup. If you looking for small scale fights probly you are on wrong tier/server.

Well, your right about PvE, we are a very High pop server when it come to PvE but for WvW, we don’t.
You can have all the people you can imagine on one server but that doesn’t mean they play in WvW.
During prime time, our WvW maps ain’t full (some are but not all). BTW, that’s one of the reasons it’s pleasant to play on JS.

In DsD also look for GvG 25vs25 this week. wisp me ingame or PM forums.

I can share you a little secret that most, at least moderately experienced, WvW players already know. Every server with single digit rank rating have big zergs. Most even have guilds that alone can create quite big zergs. You are either totally delusional or you have not played much WvW if you think your server does not form big zergs. Doesn’t even matter if you are on Baruch Bay or Jade Sea, since both can have massive zergs (or blobs as you insist).

You could transfer to a much lower ranking server if you do not like these big zergs. If you want to be on Spanish server (I don’t know if you are), then you are kinda stuck. At least try to understand what single digit server match-ups mean.

You are stating very subjective things, much like kursk.4890. Numbers tend to get a much bigger when it is the enemy and much lower when it is you, same with lag estimations. So, I take with grain of salt what everyone claims, what it comes to blobbing. Especially those 80+ blob claims.

Some people seem to have this notion that Piken Square is not allowed to play same way as other servers. This double standard just seems kinda hypocritical. Besides, apparently our “blobbing” does not even work since we lost last week against Seafarer’s Rest and Elona Reach, so why complain about it?

I don’t know what “Seize the south” means, but wouldn’t it seem logical that if our spawn is in south on Baruch Bay borderland, then we take objectives that are in south first? Or do you mean to say that first you run to north camp and it is somehow more justified and not at all annoying?

Outnumbered didn’t seem to slow you down one bit when you (Jade Sea) took our third in Eternal Battleground today. Only 3-4 people defending in each location and over 20 of you attacking. We are not allowed to fight you when you are outnumbered, but it is perfectly fine for you to take full advantage of it? This is the double standard I was talking about.

By the way, good for you keeping something when outnumbered. I don’t know how it is relevant to anything, but it must be since you brought it up.

EDIT: Correction. I am not sure it was Jade Sea in incident in Eternal Battleground that I mentioned, it could have been Baruch Bay. However, I have not seen any hesitation from Jade Sea to take advantage of superior numbers.

Another correction after I started to think that. It wasn’t even Eternal Battleground, it was our borderland and it was Baruch Bay. Bad example in that sense, but I guess we will see how much Jade Sea back off when they attack under-defended objective and realize that there are not enough defenders.

Yes, that’s called attacking the most fortified position in the game, ie hills. Its more of a shock that you have no defenders – I’ve seen more enemies inside a tiny little keep.

I seem to recall being on BB this evening and we only held our side of the map with most commanders (3 of them at one time I believe) working the center and north. If you think that was “sieze the south” with random small man teams that barely saw any action (I was rather bored)… Its been nothing compared to the massive battles we usually to have covering the entire island, lol.
