Haven’t been able to play that much so far, but I’m really looking forward to some nice 1vs1. Had quite fun last time I met Baruch (hopefully I’ve improved my 1vs1 skills )

Also I wanna wish AR and BB lots of fun this week, although we haven’t your numbers there will be some epic fights.

So it looks like there’s no quality over quantity? Who knows, but i don’t think loosing 68 rating (right now) against a ranked 16 server is a good sign.

Maybe the hype of karma trains, plus the new wvw level thing hype, plus the new wvw matchmaking system, made Baruch get number 2, and not his skill.

Becasue from the 12th of july (when you reached number 2 thx to playing against higher rated servers) you’ve been constantly loosing rating, not beeing able to secure your place and going back where you really belong, tier 3(7-9).

By the way, how can it be that when you loose, the enemies are allways more or wake up really early?

Same here. I’m on Drakkar Lake and rarely found anyone running solo at all. Most of them just ran away. WTF?

Those stereotypes about quality on high tier servers must be true. /shrug

I roam solo too sometimes and guess what from AR point of view:

- BB never runs alone, if they do and die they come back with 4-10 and chase you across the whole map.
- On Drakkar 90% are thieves, 100% are free kills. Guess stereotype of why low servers are low is true.

I roam solo every chance i get,a (very) noob sword/longbow warrior.Just please ,doing stupid emotes after you need like 4 ,5 people to chase me down across the map is just..well. Haha true that .Even a lot of comander thieves.Too bad that you can’t get past the downed state when fighting many and they get up,not much to do as a solo roamer but still funny to see them go down after they jump you with such confidence xd

You mean like 1 year ago, when Piken, Baruch and AR loved each other so much that they met almost every week ?

If nobody roam solo in AR, it’s because we know that a silent and invisible threat is hidden during Match-ups with BB : the deadly [OdS]. (/bow to you guys)
We need specific builds to kill them and protect our Dolyaks, and these builds aren’t good for 1 vs 1 against other classes… And with “normal” builds, we are a too easy prey for them.

We (me) truly loved this matchup. I remember that tier as the best matchup I’ve ever had. And we learned a lot each from each other.

But I’m actually enjoying this matchup. It may not be the same AR from those days (neither do we), but you can still find plenty of fun fighting against you guys. Also in drakkar you can find some guilds willing to fight.

Almost always they need to be the double or the triple one to kill ourselves, we gain several battles when we are in numerical inferiority and they call the zerg and we make them lose the time, enough work that we do. And if they love 1 vs 1 add me in the game Tikiitaka. A greeting.

It’s a funny video, making the shadows dance without being killed. But I mean, I encountered this many times. Most of the time when you run with OdS, you find a lot of easy kills. And you die every now and then.

But the most important thing about shadows is that they understand the battles in a different manner. If they make a 20 ~ 30 people group loose their time trying to chase two shadows, that’s a great achievement. If a shadow dies it’s ok if you get that dolyak killed.

Of course there are days better than others. But OdS is named in almost every matchup thread involving BB, and that’s because they do a great job controlling the resources on the map they are, and the job they do is very noticeable.

I still think that 90 % of players just don’t have the right build to fight you. It’s nearly impossible to kill you with builds used in zerg or guild raids.
BUT not with a proper build, designed for 1vs1 like you guys have.

Tikitaka, I’m the engi who often plays with an french/catalan Mesmer. You already have joined our team to speak with him several times.
I’m interessed in a 1 vs 1, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to play before the reset… I’ll mp if possible.

I have seen staff eles duel and tank 200% better then any other ele kind.The fact that they are rare and only casual players seem to largely preferr this weapon does not mean they can’t be duel god’s in the right hands .If you miss that % stat of power for burst in your build they can reset the fight indefinetely every rotation wich is what a dueler should know.As far as i know Ods are mostly built for war of atrition rather than ganking and the dps of the particular 2 is shown clearly in the video.

No one said all staff eles need to be glass as well as all thieves,people tend to forget that ,or maybe even discover it

Offtopic i have to witness again the rudish manners of Votf wich yet again do not raise the bar higher than ground level when involving some mutual respect.Ods have been nothing but extremely polite on every thread since launch and definately not deserved.Guess the “bad kitten wannabe” attitude will never drop of them.Oh well …Carry on

We’re being rude? It was just funny seeing a post where one of the shadows vows to kill everyone but zergs only mere hours after I saw one of them stealth and run away from me and 1 friend several times. It was a little bait to an arrogant post and all was meant well.

I’m not trying to be a bad kitten as I’m sure most of your members would have little problem to down me.
