I feel like I reconise this guild, from Baruch I think? Having a break from queues?

Greetings from another zerg guild that came down to ruin bronze league!

Casual Bloodshed [CB] had it’s maiden raid tonight. It’s a lot zergier than i imagined it would be, but at least i had the most interesting fights in a long time. Time to build omega golems and night blob this tier!

At least you’re only down here in small numbers (For now! :P) The zergs aren’t normally as bad, this week has been worse for all servers I think.

I was told there was a large guild moved down to kill HT, I only hope it was incorrect (in either the moving or the large!)

as annoying as it is for you guys getting these organized guild transferring in, it’s even more annoying when your enemies get guilds and you don’t.

don’t forget wsr was winning this matchup before all the transfers

Aye, although WSR do normally drop off during the week, I mean hell last week Vabbi beat you! But you certainly were winning, there was a heck of a push at reset!

Ideally I’d rather none got xfers and they were locked during the season, as it was great to have a small scale bracket! But failing that, I think I’d prefer enemies to get them than a server I was on – outmanned is more fun than steamroll.

I’ve not met a queue yet though, however it would be understandable as I hear a guild has moved down JUST to kill HT…. oh good, more zergguilds arriving ¬.¬ Why can’t they leave the small scale tiers to be like.. small

EB is lagging like crazy right now. Why do people not understand that it’s not the higher tiers that lag, it’s the giant zergs… most of which consist of the very people that complain about it!

Lol that’s a strange kind of move, what can a guild possible have done to have people hunt them down. Weird people.

Still, trying to figure out how much damage we can do and when we just have to cut our losses and retreat is lot of fun so far. It’s like learning a new game.
Looking forward to fighting BNF next week!

Edit: At least i’m not aware of any guilds that would move to bronze. Given the size of the zergs on eb that i’ve seen so far, even a 20 man raid would be total overkill.

It’s a completely different game really, lot’s of fun imo! The only downside is that you often find either a fight is no challenge, or just impossible, whereas (i imagine) with a full raid you at least have a chance in the massive ones that you will take something with you even if it’s too much to handle.

Aye, 20 man raids down here are just silly, which is really why everyone is concerned about the transfers I think. There has certainly been at least one 20 man raid spotted already… holding hands with the zerg!

yeah, don’t get me wrong, we do lose numbers mid week and yeah, you got the lead eventually, but the match-up would have been incredibly close and we might have had a chance of stealing 1st. let’s face it, it’s been a while since we’ve had a win, to lose the opportunity like this just sucks.

I honestly thought WSR would win. This is a much different WSR compared to when you lost your guilds, you’ve done a good job.

I’ve had many good fights this week, something to get me through the coming blobs. Thanks!

There were alot of fun fights, and the SM battles were very epic.
And i Wish FoW / WsR good luck for the next match up, and we’ll see each other once again in this season.

It’s a completely different game really, lot’s of fun imo! The only downside is that you often find either a fight is no challenge, or just impossible, whereas (i imagine) with a full raid you at least have a chance in the massive ones that you will take something with you even if it’s too much to handle.

I think its time for HC guilds to try to play with some unwritten rules.
This is my idea:
Bronze league —> 5 – 15 people
Silver league —> 15 – 30 people
Gold League —> 30+ people

btw I fought a char engineer in front of sm two days ago, was that you? sylvari mesmer and forgot that I had my pve gear so this was even more easier for you if it was

Loving all the ‘thanks for good fights’ comments and I’m putting my one in.

As always it’s been great, there’s definitely a love/hate relationship between all our servers that has flourished by fighting each other for months! Almost going to miss you guys

Good luck in the coming weeks, and we’ll see you on the flipside – exhausted of fighting all the big bully servers OR enthusiastic at all the skills we’ve learned and bigger servers we’ve beaten down.

Actually CB already meet us, even fought along side with us (was wondering about an unknown Guildgroup on Vabbi the other day) :p

Will be hard to decide if i play more on dzago or more on Vabbi since vabbi will obviously have more enemies also it can be quite fun to fight your own Guildmates once in awhile ^^

We had drama, kittening, guild transfers, a VERY close fight ( until the transfers ofc), amazing amount of loot bags ( thanks pve crowd ) and imho the best match up I’ve ever been in, good luck in the coming weeks and see you in week 6 vabbi !!!!!

Thank you all for a very enjoyable week, there’s been very few moments that haven’t been fun, and almost all bad times involved an overkill raid… I have to say already in week 2 I already feel like going to play another game.

i was the commander in that vid, and you fully deserve all those kills, especially at the tower defense. since i knew you guy were only running about 6 guys i was constantly spamming “push push push” in /s when you were low , then looking round and realising i’d charged in on my own

it’s especially obvious when you jumped out of the tower; i charged right at you, zerg went into the tower. and yeah… that tower defense…

as the gate was going down, said twice or more, “when we breach, push all the way in”, so i charged in, distortion through the guard walls, turned around… 30-50 dudes dead. it’s surprisingly difficult to get people to be aggressive, i guess i’ve been a bit spoilt with guild teams; and don’t tag up often.

i was dreading watching this vid, and was well aware you’d be recording. anyway, very well done on a perfect tower defense.

I had wondered if that was you The null fields you drop can be quite troublesome with us barely being over the AoE cap!

The main thing that makes small vs many possible (as we don’t have the luxury of permanently up boons / consant cleanse that the raids do, let alone the aoe cap part or the numbers to instantly down while wearing full pvt) is that most pugs hestitate to push. You can see in the vale and later tower fights, when you charge it causes real pain.

I stunned far too early on those steps because having noticed the commander was a mesmer, I saw a wall of some sort (probably our line of warding) appear at the bottom of the stairs and thought it was a veil!

Regardless of outcome – win or lose – that night, and the entire week, has been some of the most fun we’ve had in a very long time. WSR has been a very fun server to play against, as the majority of the zergs are right on the edge of that “can we?” area where it’s doable if we just get some good luck and the right location, and most guilds run similar numbers. It’s what we moved to Vabbi looking for, sadly it doesn’t look like it will last.

watching organised groups scatter after placing a null field on their stack is one of the simple things that always makes me smile.

but yeah, seeing the current match-ups, and the future ones, we’re being forced to recruit far more aggressively then i’d want to. dealing with guilds of 20-40 is something we just can’t do on this server right now

we might be a very different guild by the next time we meet…

So this week is blowout week according to the wvw ranking map. To be expected.

More respect to any legend player from wsr and vabbi. If I see one of you I think twice before attacking you because you earned it. In the blobs of drakkar you get bronze legend just by walking into keeps with the blob.

HT claims they are only on FOW to recrute people and then move back to GH.
they seem to ruin the fun for a lot of people with the attitude they show.
