unfortunately most of them dont listen and dont even care what is happening in the map they just see capture 5 ruins and keep doing it until acheivement is done then move to another one. They dont even want to fight alongside commanders.

Not moaning about acheivement hunters just saying it shud have not been there in the first place. If Anet wanted these leagues to be competitive then they shud have let the pvpérs better space for it rather than make it a lag fest and acheivement point hunts.

The purpose of AP in leagues was so that who participated and contributed for their world in the leagues will only be rewarded (correct me if I am wrong on the statement).

And after 3 days what do you see people achieve with those AP? Did it fullfil its purpose? no, How I see it is people are abusing this feature to just get those AP stacked up are they really participating in Wvw league season 1? no, they are not. AP hunters had a lot of content in game to hunt those AP of theirs and get to 10k or what ever their target is wvw players had this only area they are interested in limited with 100 men cap each server. The content that was suppose to be released for wvw players is now swarmed with AP hunters. Dont you expect disappointment among those wvwérs?

we do everything we can to get ppl in our community and in our TS, it s just that LOT of ppl who join WWW those days are only achie farmers who cares only about they account rating and nothing more.

It’s not something you do on the edge.

It’s a very hard and tiring work you need to repeat very very often because of the turnover in the server population. You don’t clap your hands and get the thing done.

Concerning “the pugs”, I guess that If more than 30% of your WvW population is not on TS and not following your lead, it’s just because they don’t want to…

It is nothing against pve players. THey will go where they find it fitting. All I said was Anet failed badly at making this league competitive. The pve player examples are to qoute what was happening in wvw atm. I go to a dungeon I will be noob there and pve people will be pro. I never go there. PVE people are nabs in wvw until they play for a while and learn mechanics and everything. for now they are noobs and in wvw and dont care if they are noobs they just want there achievements and they will be gone. This is a bad design from Anet. I have pve players in my guild and I play with them and when they want they join us for wvw and we have fun. there is nothing against anything. Dont take words and mould it according to what you thought I wrote.

My last post on this topic. I will only say this. SFR hold this week I know you can Kresh, Mighty Liam, handarand, russian army.
I want ot make few things clear because you start flaming each other again….

1- sfr knew vz will come as far as they come for league.We were prepared. I think the reset night was closest thing to real match you will had alll week. WvW people joined the maps and fight and it was kittening even.
2- yes CoN moved it is not secret we are on AR, I stayed jsut to fight Vz and give it my best. And god I did jsut in one moment when people flame you for the way you play and demand and try to teach you how to play it becomes not annoying but frustrating. And honestly if I want a second job and commitment I will go play Eve online again.Gw 2 is fun and time killer.
3 – As I pointed earlier Anet moving start of the league made it worse for Sfr as the standings. If Rs there and 2 weeks earlier picture will be more different. But yeah so much of the control.
4 – The things that Sfr did not expected was how much bandwagoning this 2 weeks will create and how much of the pve population will join. I doubt you ever have seen russians in full forces on maps this weekend. It is insane.
5 – The lag the zerging the blob mentality and fight and hide under siege is not Sfr way.It was always the other way guilds first and now this is the problem. Maybe sfr will adapt. People say if you cant beat someone become like him. But what is the cost? I still hope Sfr survive and keep the guild integrity instead going the blob mentality I hope 10% of these bandwagoners have brains to listen the veteran wvw players.We play in 2 weeks I will be glad we have some old style no blob guild fun. Ar cant win but we can have fun and decide some grudge matches.
6 – And let me point something no server can survive 2v1. I can point you alot of examples this weekend and you can deny as much but the truth is. Piken attack only the weaker target and it is smart for them. They play for second last week is same match up they try to get teh second place. But honestly if you tell me 1 blob in home keep other enemy blob on home tower and no double team? or this screen :

7 – And the last one. Do you really want this guys? faceless blob lag skill delay,you wonder why most of the notable guilds left GL moved to silver? Or why guilds get frustrated. So now it’s Pve players against a Pve players.

On that part Vizunah has better Pve players since they building their community for long time, every upscaled knows where to build an arrowcart. While SFR wvw community rely only on their WvW guilds who don’t give a kitten about siege, and good quality pugs from those guilds and they are minority in WvW at the moment.

VZ managed to embrace achievement hunters, newbies, pvers, etc into the fight. While SFR failed to do so.. This is what makes VZ strong this week.

Because for some reason I was thinking about the comparison, and to me it’s fitting. Alone they aren’t that great ( not generalizing, every server has good/bad players ) but their hivemind-like coordination and dedication makes them achieve great things.

As someone that resides on SFR, I want to apologise to everyone (especially Viz) for the behaviour of the people on my realm. I keep saying the same stuff as you guys in map chat: embrace the people going for achievements, explain to them that the fastest way to get them is follow commander, etc… but no, people prefer to whine all day rather than use common sense just not be nice to people, for once.

If so-called “pugs” (pug = pick-up group, aka, our blob, not individuals…) log onto TS, and the first thing they hear is flaming from the commander at how useless all PvEers and achievement hunters are, what makes you think they’ll even be REMOTELY interested in helping our server?

SFR is getting what it deserves. I will try to lead when I can, and when I do so I will embrace all the people our other commanders insist on chewing up and spitting out.

It’s a game, be nice. If you’re this bad in a game, how bad are you in real life? Has anonymity really taken such a toll on your behaviour? There’s other actual people on the other end of the wire… Grow the f**k up.

To Viz: you did amazing this weekend, massive respect. If only we managed to rally all the achievement hunters in the spectacular fashion that you guys managed to, this would all be different.

The downfall of this server is it’s ego. Let go of that and things will be better.

Don’t play attention to monsieur Troma, posts like he has done don’t deserve any attention. I understand you problems, but we had some strategies that have worked great in EB, some of them will work in BL’s to, I think they will work even better .I PM you in game, or we can talk later.

That’s watt I have done on Friday, waited 3 h to get in, after 5 m I got DC, I waited another 1 h, and got another DC…and I had to go sleep.

You guys are still working in yours servers to improve, or you just give up and transfer to VS? Elona still can do a 2v1 in an upcoming week, Deso guys, sorry but you can’t in this league.

Thx Aelen, it’s a real relief to read post like yours, i’ve been here myself from time to time trying to defend Viz against those guys, seeing that their hate was spredding amongst others like venom.
Thankfully, they treated every individual and server the same way they treated us, so in the end it all splashed back on them. I’m sure they won’t change behaviour but at least they can learn that they fed up pretty much everybody with this attitude.

PS: i’m not, nor everyone in viz i hope, taking those guys for the whole sfr community, and i sure can take some friendly taunting, i’m talking about the real haters who well…gonna hate i guess

These stats include towers you take back.

For example here is some stats how many times and who capped.

First here is couple towers in EB from piken corner
Anzalias:
PS, 45
Vizunah, 10
SFR, 36

Mendons:
PS, 26
Vizunah, 4
SFR, 22

Here is couple from SFR corner
Wildcreek:
PS, 6
Vizunah, 13
SFR, 17

Klovan:
PS, 6
Vizunah, 32
SFR, 35

These stats suggest that SFR is attacking piken lot more often than piken is attacking back, but here is something i noticed.

Stonemist:
PS, 64
Vizunah, 57
SFR, 36

It looks like that Piken and VZ are focusing fighting over Stonemist lot more than SFR is. Often when Vizunah got SM and they are busy fighting Piken somewhere else instead taking the opportunity to cap stonemist SFR go to anza instead.

Don’t get me wrong, i wasn’t trying to start off a number (and subsequent interpretations) war.

Just pointing that now we have tools that tracks a LOT of stuff happening in WvW that you can miss. Or just that anecdotal evidence is pointless in a discussion, while there you can find numbers.

Not going to argue about what is happening in strategies for the very simple reason i can’t play atm, thus would be pointless to hop in a discussion were i don’t know anything from the field.

Where did you get those stats? At the same site?
Did you forget VS corner? How many times did PS took Durios? And QL? During the 28 h I was on during the weekend I can remember a single one from QL, I’m curious about Durios.

The stats in percentage reflect watt have happened, we attacked and flipped Anza and Mendon on PS side, and QL in VS side, that’s why the stats are higher to PS side.
Your stats are very interesting also because they show the incompetence from PS, for instance you only took WC for 6 times, and the times you took Klovan are mainly because VS are attacking Jerrifer with 10/12 golems. Yes PS is really bad, we know, VS know, your stats just show it. @AnrewSX stats just put the 2v1 in %.

SFR last I checked was in mass on PSBL. Viz appears to be healthy population on its own BL as well as having about 60 dedicated to PSBL. That’s where I’m seeing the big fights tonight.

Point is VS does help newcomers and PVE boys for more than a month, maybe more, it’s a hard and very long work (longer and harder with an international server like SFR). Troma has done an insane work in this way.
VS was prepared for this because we needed those guys.

You apparently didn’t, and you are paying it. I admit that’s unfair for WvWguys who were prepared, but it’s a server game mode and SFR seems to forget it. That’s maybe why you are in really hard position.

PvEboyz are making queue in VS (several hours), but they aren’t breaking our WvW because they are a part of our crew.

The biggest fight ive had this week is actually getting onto a server to fight

Point is VS does help newcomers and PVE boys for more than a month, maybe more, it’s a hard and very long work (longer and harder with an international server like SFR). Troma has done an insane work in this way.
VS was prepared for this because we needed those guys.

You apparently didn’t, and you are paying it. I admit that’s unfair for WvWguys who were prepared, but it’s a server game mode and SFR seems to forget it. That’s maybe why you are in really hard position.

PvEboyz are making queue in VS (several hours), but they aren’t breaking our WvW because they are a part of our crew.
