Eh, we’ve had serious issues during prime time getting our guilds into WvW. Maps are packed with people who are uninterested in team play, and more interested in grinding achievements, zerging ruins/sentries/jumping puzzles. I’m sure it’s this way on all servers, but I am looking forward to the weekday portion of this match up, where there will be fewer queues and more of our hardcore WvWers out.

Also, [TE] is looking forward to seeing all the people/guilds who think SBI has no good players out on the borderlands tonight. We’ll be on FA BL barring major queue issues. Stay classy amigos.

In SBI’s case, you have numbers caused by transfers, but less skill and poor organization, 90% of encounters I’ve had with your zergs have resulted in you wiping quickly.

In FA’s case, it’s because of numbers, skill, and organization, you guys bring an amazing fight every time we face you, keep it up!

wtf. The sbi zergs I have been in all weekend have been wiping both FA and DB when we have come across them.

Sadly, I have no idea what is going on in our own BL. But we really need to get that under control.

I hate to break it to you, but FA’s good showing has nothing to do with our NA taking the overnight shift. We have amazing oceanic organization right now, and our numbers are picking up because of it.

I had written a really long post about how bad hero is but I decided it doesn’t really need detail because all you need to do is log in and go into EBG, SBI. Don’t let them command that map, it will do you no good. They are fair weather kittens who lack aptitude for playing this gaming in an effective or polite manner. The few quality members of that guild stayed on dragonbrand the rest are trash. My personal opinion. if you can’t beat a guild with double their numbers you should stick where you belong, which is in the megazerg, don’t try to command a map if you don’t even understand combo fields. Please don’t ruin EBG any further for Sbi, thank you and have a nice day.

good fights in tonights (and last nights) oceanic in SBI BL. even though i tried all night last night, finally got your gari tonight. solid defense of bay and gari though.

How is running around in groups of 100-125 remotely fun?

So I said I was going to not post here for a while but this made me.

To the Dragonbrand Scout [WAR] guardian I fought outside/inside DB hills for around 5 minutes, I was going to try to add you to my party to say good fight. But then you went and laughed and threw siege on top of my body. So here goes.

Congratukitteninglations! You killed a glass cannon thief with a Healway guardian running GS and Sword/focus! It only took you the entire 5 minutes and I wasn’t even using D/P to escape into stealth. Frankly, I am embarrassed. My main is a guardian. The fact that it took you that long considering I was being painfully obvious I was going for the Backstab is ridiculous. Like seriously. I’ve killed thieves with that build in under a minute if they don’t go into stealth. I was so fricken glassy that one spin to win would have killed me if you had used your pull, which was on me for half the fight! Here’s a tip! If the 5 skill isn’t in cooldown, it means it hit, even when I am in stealth! So that’s your sign to drop Symbol of Wrath, hit 5, and then hit 2 to grind me to dust. Finish me off with a 3 on the Gs and a 3 on the Sword and the laugh and siege drop would have been acceptable.

Yes it’s a ranger from [Corp] with Bolt and rodgort AND a frostfang!! I found this ranger roaming south in Dragonbrand as well and lost 3 times to her , no matter what I tried spec-wise i couldn’t seem to win she’s an extremely good ranger :[

I so far, even being on the losing end points wise, am having a total blast! Was a little sad to see people transfer off and us being on the losing end for the last couple weeks but I much rather be in silver league rather than gold any day!

This is probably the toughest matchup we can get this season yet I still think we are holding up quite well. Especially against SBI we manage to win fights with nice consistency, FA on the other hand offer quite a challenge even with similar numbers on some fights!

One time that made me smile was when going to umber to fight SBI only to get stuck between 75+ SBI AND 75+ FA duking it out and us dying in massive AoE crossfire! It was terrible yet hilarious.

Keep it up people, this is fun!

Had good fun running around this weekend with a havoc group, dodging the giant zergs. Also some amusing cross-server co-op moments in the jumping puzzles.

But god kitten this morning was unpleasant. We got to spend the entire morning with DB and FA slamming our borderlands hard, with us having two commanders not apparently communicating with each other and splitting our zerg into two, smaller, far more easily destroyed groups. Additionally, scouts calling to defend something were going entirely ignored for far too long; we’re talking like a zerg is wailing on a tower door and someone goes “DB is about to hit Garrison” and the aformentioned tower zerg just sits there instead of going to defend at all; it’s a paper tower next to their BL entrance, taking it is of far lower priority then keeping the bloody Garrison.

SBI tended to have very easy matchups the last.. god, 6 weeks? More? We were steam rolling people who simply could not match our numbers. It seems to have bred complacency; you can’t just roll with a big ball and win by shock and awe against FA guys; they flat out equal or better our numbers in almost every fight of substance and they won’t be demoralized by losing to us once or twice, that much has been shown.

We need to defend our stuff; we need to have a defensive havoc group stopping camp-capping and supply interception so that they can’t reinforce what they do take from us. It’s clear that we’re not going to win this weeks, and that’s fine, but do try to learn from it.

Is this when you all were escorting the last yak into Bay to try and finish the WP? Yeah that was great! It had almoost made it and our main force comes over the hill.

(speaking my own opinion only)

I kind of hope SBI loses this week to take the pressure off the need to be the Silver ‘winning’ WvW server and we get back to the fun for the next 6 weeks.

SBI v FA v DB has been one of the best matchups that I can recall ever (hate that server lag though). SBI still has insta-join queues in some BLs on mid-day weekend hours so that says something about coverage and new transfers.

This match up is proving intense. Good job on FA coming out of hibernation or whatever it was two weeks ago(?). I honestly can’t believe people are saying they wanted to be in gold league. We would have been kitten stomped so hard.

Rock it FA. Glad to see you guys pulling the BG approach. Rest before the matchups, and have fun on go live day.

Found our first good smallish guild group last night [SYNC] I believe was the tag. Good kitten you guys real tight group that didn’t seem to mind a little back and forth. As for the rest of SBI thanks for all the bags and keep trying to improve. Kudos though haven’t seen one tower hugger this week from either DB or SBI, you guys came to fight this match up. Lot’s of bags to go around even got an ascended drop, unfortunately shaman stats for a necro is not so good gonna need to roll another alt.

Now this is a good match-up! It’s much more fun when all three servers have roughly the same population, no one is gonna get steamrolled. I can’t speak for the rest of my FA comrades but I think we needed a break from the “big 4” servers and their mega blobs and being destroyed by them week after week.

We should really be giving you guys a much stronger challenge – when we faced you two weeks ago I’m pretty sure we had at least double the numbers during Oceanic hours that I’m seeing now. It’s a little odd, considering the number of complaints about queues during NA primetime, that no-one’s willing to stay late this week.

Had amazing fights in DB BL against DB and FA in the past 2 hours. Great defense by DB for defending their gari! hope to engage more exciting fights like this throughout the week.

Gotta say, my guild had a good time on DB BL against both SBI and DB. Fought a plethora of guilds and all the fights were good.
