I was that Asura Thief in your video. They were quite persistent and keen on winning that glorious 3v1…
But you really kicked my “kitten” in that first fight. Should have switched to sword/dagger, which is what i normally use against eles.

Like you said though, not best place for duelling.
Invite the “enemy” to party, head back of Mill, usually safe duelling there.

Had to /laugh at the ranger though.

Today we finally were able to figure out the secret french tactic they tried to hide from us: Be more than your opponent and make certain the resulting lags prevent them from using any skills that might hurt you.

Oh wow really ?.. So pathetic.

This stuff is pathetic indeed and I’m ashamed Underworld players have to sink so low just for a little bit of additional karma/wxp.

Well… I suggested to take the red keep to farm WXP… but nobody wanted to do this. Then later red took one of our towers while we were busy at the green keep retaking it. Red ported away and apparently they went to our tower which got reported in chat but nobody(including me) read it cause we all wanted to take the green keep again.

And end of the story: Now whole EB is blue and red can start retaking their keep later and upgrade it again(as we had to do with SM which is almost fully upgraded again).

Don’t trust the enemies. Next time red keep from the beginning instead of making stupid deals. ;-) With more people only from red it will be more fun – and with our fun commanders ha ha(Archi still one of the better guys and fun if he is online).

Even though I’m all up for alliances and deals and stuff, this is an exploit and it’s against ANet’s rules.
If I see anything like this happening in UW, I will report the commander.

Well, I was online when that happened. And all I can say is that several of our players complained about that “deal” and asked our commander to stop that. He probably was aware that it wasn’t a good idea and left right after that short “we need the waypoint” swap of ownership of the garrison and only said “remember the clockwise thing and bye”.

If I may, here are my two cents.

I was the person that was Commanding Eternal Battlegrounds at that particular moment. Being a Commander does not means that you automatically make decisions for others. You’re a rally point for players. Every player decides for themselves what they do and what they don’t.

Also, there are several factors that had influence at this particular moment, such as our players that were not in a good mood due to the WvW Xp Farm that the French server was holding on our map and Dzagonur, flip our map, move to Dzagonur, then move back to our map. Keeping everything wooden.

Also, we were not particularly pleased with the come of French Players that had joined our TeamSpeak to give away our locations earlier that day. I know this is not a reason to “bond” with the enemy, but to be honest. None of this ever took place, the chat would show different. But in reality, we never cooperated in any Karma/WvW Xp farm.

The only thing I will admit is that we did give up the green keep to the Dzagonur group so they could get their map completion. That being said, I would like to state once more that each and every WvW Player has a free choice to participate in anything. We can not, and will not, force you to take part of any actions that you are not completely supporting.

Sadly, I think that making you look bad was the point of the post, dunno why tho. Anyone who was there yesterday knows that this never took place as it shows in this screenshot of the chat.

Ofcourse it matters, its a huge difference between talking about exploiting and actually doing it, makes every player that was following Archi at that point look bad, even thouh it never happened.

And why is posting this exploit that never happened on the forum necessary? Why didnt the poster write it in chat, why didnt he warn the commander, why didnt he pm him about it, why didnt he report him, if he thought someone was exploiting? No, he chose to post it on the forum, for what purpose ? Public humiliation? Rly those kind of ppl are the worst.

Personally I think it is a rather good idea to post it like this, since that means those of us that were not there at that every instant can see it and avoid commanders like that.

Making deals with the enemy in such a manner is in fact a violation of the rules. If you want to see for yourself, I suggest reading the rules of conduct.

And this is not the first time something like this has happened. It’s quite sad to be honest, but I won’t go into details regarding the last case. The forums might indeed not be the best place to discuss such matters.

1. I’ve been searching for World vs World specific rules, I can not seem to find anything where it states that in the event of coöperating with a competative server, infractions/punishment will be applied.

2. Krall I think that you should drop your personal issue with me, as I have done to you. I PM’d you in-game asking where you read this article that states that coöperation is an exploit of the game mechanics. Until you can prove me wrong, I would like to ask you to stop calling me an exploiter as I am not doing so.

3. You have to keep in mind that, like I stated before, none of these things in chat took place, other then purposely let Dzagonur take the keep for map completion.

As for talking about the Rules of Conduct:

1. While playing Guild Wars 2, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the Game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players. This includes posting insulting, offensive, or abusive comments about players, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, reporting players maliciously, attacking a player based on race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.

I have read the rules, closest I could find about World vs World was rule Number 22.

I do not see how discussing the possebillitys of an event that yet has to, or not to, has to take place is exploiting this rule. In reallity it has never took place, and even if it would have, it would not have affected the outcome of the score, as we’re not talking about any kind of “alliance” or (semi)-Permanent treaty.

You are judging it by a screenshot that doesnt even show the whole conversation? I repeat again talking about something and doing it are two different things, the exploit did NOT happen.

Underworld would be banned. The amount of times I run past our Spawnpoint having to see 20-30 people standing at Vendors/Waypoints, our server would be out of the WvW Match-ups in no time.

I do not feel that we were distrupting anyones gameplay with what in this particulair case has taken place during our matchup. Looking at it like that, I remember that our last oponents, AR camped our EB Spawnpoint for 5 days straight, would that mean you’d have to ban all their players? Because they are discouraging our players from playing.

We can keep speculating about what has been said and what has been done, but I do not think it will help any of us.

As for your conversation with this Arenanet Employee, I think that is based on case-by-case. I think that their rules regarding World vs World are to blurred to cover everything. You can not expect me after all to know that you have had an conversation with one of their Employee’s and expect me to know what I can, and Can’t do when it is not written in plain and understandable English.

As I said before, I think it’s common sense that stuff like purposefully flipping keeps with the enemy are things that should not be done. It’s basically abusing the reward system that is meant to give you something for your efforts of taking a keep.

Can you not read? The players voted A. Of course they want to farm WXP and take stuff. Everyone wants to farm WXP. But I would have prefered to farm them at the red keep… instead making deals with them. But it’s easier to say “A”(green keep) when you are already there.

So it’s also the fault of the players.

In the end it does not matter that mucch… we made everything blue and when I logged in yesterday afternoon I saw all the WP at our keep and SM lost… seems someone attacked back.

So yesterday night/today we made again everything blue…

Please, Arborstone or Dzagonur, take SM!

Dolyaks to SM from our side of the map are bugged. It seems near the Great Eastern Gate(our main SM outer gate) there are 2 escort caravans events stuck – shows the event UI but the Dolyaks are nowhere to be seen and no icon on the map… like they were invisible or entered SM but the event did not end properly…

So no new Dolyaks spawning into this direction which also leaves the towers en route to SM without any supply.

Capturing by another server might reset the events… if not we need to wait until Friday… or maybe another hotfix for PvE content where they also take down WvW will reset them.

That AC were placed at the wall you had destroyed at inner bay and the ac focused down our siege that were placed infront of the Lordsroom, shouldn’t be possible to our siege from there.

Just defended Lowlands against Underworld… We lost, that’s the game ^^.
It’s a shame to see Underworld players use an exploit to pass through the door without breaking it … do you really need that to win?
I was using an arrow cart just in front of the lord, at the top of the stairs, right in front of the door… And suddenly I see 4 to 5 Underworld players rushing towards me and trying to destroy my AC, even though the gate is still there!
Like said above, we do report Arbor players who use exploits… It’d be nice to know you do the same.
We tried to contact your commander, just to tell him this, but no UW player accepted to relay our message.
