Hi all. Just wanted to give my input. It’s been a great fight this week! love the 1v1, 2v2,3v3,4v4..up to even 10v10 scraps that seem to come around everywhere. Just my opinion is that CD has a little bit better scrapers than FA. FA your numbers are massive, and you use them for amazing scouting. It seems your cross BL scouting is pretty decent as well. Lucky you guys had SBI as your first week for teh practice :p

Side note. I would like to see more thieves try other builds though. So boring with all the zerkers..

Let me begin this post by apologizing for my attitude. I am sorry i’m not kitten about not winning, or mad at any other server for using whatever tactics they have used. I can’t help it! This is what happens when I’m not mad!

I have been in, next to, and birds eye for a number of large fights. sometimes a rundown, sometimes a wipe. Pretty much always fun. got into a few duels out there during the course of the week. Much respect to those who fight till the end as opposed to fleeing.

I will admit I did had one unfriendly notion this week. I witnessed a lot of people running from fights in a video game. I saw lots of people standing on walls watching server mates get killed from relative safety. People downright frightened to engage in relatively even numbers. I’m not ignorant. I know this is my serer as well as our competition. I just got to thinking as I watch what could have been a great open field fight turn into a ridiculous car chase as one team used the run and hide tactic. I simply thought.

My God, I hope all these people who run from these fights, or avoid them are not a part of the Armed forces responsible for keeping my homeland safe IRL. We should be killing and dying, not tucking and taping back our bits so we can run faster.

I’ve found it really amusing the complaints about this server using a crap ton of AC’s and siege that server using a crap ton of AC’s and siege. The fact is I’ve seen as much siege on all three servers keeps and towers as the others, and I’ve seen all three servers use open field siege as well. The fact is its a mechanic in the game that is available for use, everyone uses it, so why complain and throw it back and forth at each other as an excuse why someone won or lost a battle, the difference is FA tends to hold what they capture a little longer. I mean come on, grow a pair and get over it, its Guild Wars.

Overall it’s been a fun week of battles and skirmishes from the small fights to large zerg vs zerg fights, lots of bags to be had by all. I hope everyone else has enjoyed this week with the trash talking and crying aside, and I wish all good luck in next weeks confrontations as well.

Yah lot of siege hiding with groups the same size as ours.

Lots of YB trying to engage our forces with the help of AC’s…

ie. we run towards them, they retreat to AC or Cannon range. This is a fine tactic, if it works. It didn’t though, and to try it over and over was a bit ridiculous.

Especially when you have a like sized force.(and yes we knew the size of your force because your commander told us)…

Not to totally poo poo on YB for this…there were plenty of times we caught them out there, and a couple of times they caught us.

To be honest the zerg vs zerg fight was 7 to 3(in our favor) by my counts by the time I logged off at 10:30ish EST. At least one of our losses had AC fire directly on us, and another was due to fail positioning trying to stay out of AC range.

Both zergs had tons of pve pugs, who went down when people threw them a terse look. YB we feel your pain here lol.

I took a ton of video, but I screwed up with fraps and recorded 51 minutes straight 1080p and the file is too annoying for me to sift through. I meant to record just snippets of each encounter, but forgot that I changed the hotkeys for fraps…so yah 150gig file. Too lazy to muck with.

We actually don’t focus much on what the group comp is. Rather we focus on people playing the class they enjoy. We’d much rather our guildies have fun playing instead of be forced to play a class they wouldn’t usually play.

On the disappointment about the video, there’s another video on my youtube page when we were back facing NSP. It was just 3 of us vs fair amout of NSP (I still haven’t gotten around to counting) near their garrison. They respawned and ran back so we just referred to it as fighting 3 waves of them lol.

Good post, I gotta agree with you.

This week has been pretty annoying overall in regards to good fights for me soloing/duo’ing, its been awhile since ive seen the massive amounts that a higher tier server can bring. That being said, last evening i had about an hour long stretch of 3v1s, 2v1s, and some entertaining duels from both the other servers. I’ll be out again around 10pm pst in FABL/YBBL south camp/vet area if you want to 1v1 just /wave or /bow and we can hash it out.

PS- To that condi ranger that laughed as i bailed from 5+.. sucks when caught alone huh?

Is MEX a guild? I have only seen ONE and GLOB with a handful of other small guilds but that’s it for guilds sticking together. So glad you kicked imaginary butt out there….might need to get some sleep because you are hallucinating.
