Best YB can hope for now is a good showing against SBI.

SBI is squishy enough to give YB some confidence back.

Its tough for a server as spunky as YB to get wiped over and over by us.

They started out strong on the weekend, but the pressure and wipes were too much for them and they buckled.

Just like we were warned about.

All of which is hilarious when you realize they have twice the numbers as the next closest server in this match up, Yaks. I guess they only want to fight enemies who /sleep for them while they face roll their keyboards.

You should try to show some class when you lose.

you guys had even numbers dont even lie to yourselves lol all you do is hide in your uber seiged towers. Protip, if you die in game nothing happens to you IRL…so FIGHT instead of running away. can’t wait for next leagues when we’re in gold, we may lose PPT, but at least we’ll get good fights!

It has been a really nice week and I just want to thank some people:

First of all thanks to my parents who brought such a pretty boy to this world.
Thanks to my grandma who gave me a new gfx card for my birthday.
And last but not least thank you YB and CD for the sea of bags and badges your dead bodies left when your souls waypointed back to spawn. I really need to do some fractals to get bigger bags before 11/15 when we face CD again.
PS: rumours say A-net is going to bring back the BL quaggan lake, all the tears from YB and CD are threatening to flood the ruins, so get out your breathing masks and lvl 5 waterweapons.

Sincere thanks to GLOB for taking the time to GvG both RET and HOPE back-to-back. Those were some fun fights to participate in and watch.

We hope that GLOB stays active in the GvG scene, and that more YB guilds become interested in it and rise to the challenge. It would be very nice to see a larger field of competition in silver league.

Have to say i had fun this week. even tho at times barely any1 was on eb and we did lose everything a few times i had some fun fights.

1v1 fights were interesting with a few [FTF] players on FABL and had a nice solo run through the FA zerg at CD keep yesterday in eb. lol. got to the end of the 30 man zerg going from jerri to our keep before getting slaughtered by the tail

MEX kicked FA backs out there and Im sure many in FA will remember it, it is a shame the server didnt won, we had enough to take FA down, but oh well we are improving.

Agreed, it was a lot of fun and laughs. We normally don’t mess with SMC as a guild b/c zerg fighting ain’t really our thing. We are getting better at it but overall we still stick to small skirmishing and misdirection sneaky tactics. It was really funny b/c one of our guys threw down a ballista print to help choke you guys and I swear just before you knocked us off, one of our guys said, that’s not the best place for that as it’s too close to the edge. Next thing you know half of our group, including myself, were knocked off. The second big fight up there was much better even though you guys eventually took us down. I ran out of condi removal or I think I could have gotten away….kitten u necros…kitten u necros!

FA forum warriors represent all of FA. We hire them and pay them to post the views of the entire FA community, who always share the same views. Nobody in FA is classy. Everybody should judge FA by our forum warriors.

Other than that, good fights Yaks Bend. Good luck in the next match up.

This week posed a challenge, and that was great. I think the main thing for YB to take from FA is the obsessive nature of re-capping in the PPT invuln window. We’re not ignorant of this act, but our server has had no reason to focus on it due to our majority stomp or be stomped match-ups. We’d be better off if we started organizing groups to start at far distances then work towards clutch, near-proximity towers to the enemy near tick time.

That said, I had fun beeping the boops in my Omega this week, and got some good zerg defense experience. Thanks for the bouts!

Good stuff this week YB and CD. Special props to YB. I think if you guys push hard all weekend and keep up a good EU presence you could give SBI a run for their money.

I will have to say I will not miss Thief Character from ONE. He is the most annoying scout I have ever seen. Many a ruined golem rush and zerg clash due to his scouting. I will miss some others, but you know who you are

I would just like to point out that the only time period this week where YB had comparable to numbers to FA (reset night) that YB steam rolled everywhere we went. I guess having a higher population of people with nothing to do all day through the week is something to brag about these days.

Congrats FA on your Win, and CD it’s been fun.

1. FA forum warriors are trolls, and you’ve all taken the bait all week. The reason they gave you so much stick about this week was because of how much you talked yourself up. If you hadn’t of done that, they probably wouldn’t have cared (as much).
2. YB at the end of the day, we kept showing up to fight and you didn’t, get over it, you were never going to beat us, lets move on, see you next time.

Wow just wow. So to recap
Day #1
YB wins for like 2 hours on reset ONE starts PVFing and calls out one of FAs largest and best guilds HOPE.
YB then starts PVing about other FAers and wiping them all over the place
FA big/medium guilds can’t get all their people into maps because of pvers and reset night normal increase in population.
Day #2
YBBL turned into a wasteland after HOPE and others get into map. Havoc is running wild killing yaks and starving supply. Havoc is flipping towers as YB feeds bags to our zerg for almost 12 hours in your garrison.
Meanwhile FABL Waypoint garrison, bay, and hills
Late day #2 FA waypoint in your hills
Day #3
The slaughter continues YBBL hills is sieged to the gills and the waypoint stands for over a day in your BL.
Day #4
FA just getting paid at this point wiping baddy after baddy on YB. Waypoint hills again in YBBL. While the rest of the BL is on a regular downgrade cycle. FABL loses Bay waypoint for 10 hours then gets it back.
Day #5
YB is a broken/fragmented mess at this point. Barely able to muster a force, running more than fighting at this point. FA now trying circus battle wins just for challenge. FABL garrison now 5 straight days of being held, while hills on day 3 of being waypointed. FA turning to CDBL for fights at this point cause at least they will fight, and YAks has jumped over too to try to get easy kills, only to find FA there too.
DAY #6
FA dropping banquets to see how dunk we can be and still beat yaks bend zergs. Turns out the number is 10 stacks of drunk, as after that you miss every attack. Karma trains in EB and YBBL have reached epic propositions. Guildies are gaining 10 W3 levels an hour without booster and our paper stacks/badges are getting so high we’re gearing alts. and buying superior siege for future match ups.
Observations: I don’t even know if most Yaks players are good because your builds are so bad. Weather that first burst and they all melt. You’re in denial about blobbing, saw big groups of 35-40 pretty much every night. You guys had numbers to defend a couple BLs at least. We have more especially PST,OCX,EU so obviously PPT wise you weren’t going to win. You seem to have scouts, but no one comes to defend. The open field siege you guys drop when you have numbers is just well lol. What you should have learned from this matchup don’t PVF early in the matchup. FA was indifferent to YB till then. After that it was on and we solely focused YB at that point with all we had.

Thank you to the players who didn’t run from 1v1’s and 2v2’s this week. You were few and far between on CDBL, but you made it worth it.

Big thanks to the [uA] Mesmer duo who put up with my cheap tactics to try and kill one of them before being downed in the southern camps about 12 hours ago. You hurt. I had nightmares while sleeping today of spinning greatswords and shattered illusions. Great fights on this end. I learned a bit, maybe next time I can give you a better fight. GL to both FA and CD.

Thank you RET and HOPE for the back-to-back GvG’s last night, lots of respect to your guys. They were a lot of fun and a learning experience for everyone who participated in our guild. Both GvG’s were intense, too. Especially our victory against HOPE with only 5 people. Great fights all around!

Where to begin?

First, I suppose being the main antagonist of the events that transpired this week, I confess that I pre-emptively drew aggro and started the talk early this week and got the fights I and some members of [One] desired. Actually I hardly ever PvF as hard as I did this week, and I suppose there was some selfish desire on my part to want FA to try their hardest, come out in force and fight us in the open field.

In a way it worked, but at the same time, punished my fellow colleagues and WvWers on Yak’s Bend for fighting a foe with such a greater coverage and coodination across borderlands with undue focus. I may have enjoyed every moment of back and forth slaughters on both sides, but I know that equally my comrades were not enjoying it, thus the fairweathers and potential new WvWers this week were crushed.

I apologize for my behavior on that regard.

I also apologize to the various guilds on FA, as although [One] may have desired combat in the open plains and you definitely did come out, we could not sate your bloodthirst for us in GvGs. It definitely makes us look bad, and I am definitely to blame for that, especially after spectating our respectable comrades in arms [Glob] show up last night to prove their mettle with valor. One should not talk the talk and not walk the walk.

However, I am still extremely proud of Yak’s Bend for such a great week of fighting an opponent of Fort Aspenwood’s calibur. YB will continue to grow despite this loss, and is a definite contender for the remaining weeks. I am extremely happy for the intense fights that were given this week, and am already looking forward to the rest of this League Season.

I am very eager for the next time FA and YB exchange blows, and definitely looking forward to when [One] will show FA we weren’t just kidding around. Looking at things now, it might not be too far off from after the Season is over
