GL RS and AR! i like the guild groups roaming in this match up, i hope we may cross Swords shame we couldnt do much tonight as we got 10ppl in, i was meant to be leading and got stuck in queue then D/C when i got in woop! xD hope u got some loot from us due to our small numbers tonight.

Some great fights on Piken GL with many smaller groups running around. Best reset in ages and we never felt outblobb’d with our ~15 guys and gals. Thanks for that.

Necrosis wishing all a good match-up..played a bit in reset after 2 disconnects…got to say its slightly more relaxed matchup than last week.Really loved to see guilds from Riverside running as a raid.Mondays and Wednsdays we have our official raids but we got people running in BLs everyday all day.See you in-game

guys its just a server drunk raid today. that is why you see zone blobbing. Since we are pushed into the leagues by Anet we like to win from servers we can. :-)

@piken players please dont berate your opponents. I hope we keep it civil and nothing nasty starts on the forums from our side.

Oh the irony, considering how many times I saw CoN do a 180 and run away this evening. Sometimes there is honor in defeat, especially when fighting outnumbered. Other times… Not so much.

But dont worry, both AR and RS will surely field guilds 2-3x the size of what PS has during the week, your time will come again.

You create such insane skill lags so there is no point in engaging a blob where everybody just spams skill one and survives due to the massive numbers which mitigate the damage. We try to fight everything that is thrown at us but under certain circumstances its just pointless.

The lag was like 15 seconds skill delay and yeah it was not fun if you call this play and wiping us Gl.. try to wipe us alone. Oh hahaha, that’s where SFR’s guys went. You guys really shouldn’t be talking about blobs, not after the masses you used to pour into the maps late at night, accompanied by multiple golems, with maaaaybe 10 Piken to fight at that time, lol. I still have the screen shots from those times because it was such overkill.

Ok….other than you there is no one yet who has cried about skill lag here. I am gonna assume that it is the old SFR cry warrior genes that is talking in you at the moment. Apart from that We even with our last night raid the one that Rostrot the Machine shared consisting of multiple guilds of Piken had no lag. We were able to use all our skills. However, if more people confirm they have skill lag on them then it is something wrong on Anet’s part. We faced the similar situation last week where SFR and Piken had skill lags but Vizunah had a lot less than we did (keeping in mind they still had it). Typically SFR blamed it on VS lag bots though we suffered did not blame it on anyone as it is simply out of the hands of the players. Besides you wanna test your metal go gvg I am sure there are many guilds with us that will be willing to provide you a good battle. on the ground its always less or more and we dont cry when we are less. peace out.

I would just like to state that the complaints about the blobs from PS and RS are based on what we personally face in the time we personally play. So don’t bring in that our current server blobs in the night with 10 golems in that discussion please. The reason the CoN members in this matchup thread responded in this way is that we simply want some good fights and it makes us sad to find the enemy outnumbering us so much that we feel like we can’t do anything. This is our personal point of view and poorly expressed by our members here in a way i do not condone (please refrain from posting this again in our name guys).

I’ll leave further QQ behind, I just want to ventilate our opinion towards you, I’m sure weekends are always a bit more crowded I just hope some guilds will face us with equal numbers this week instead of waiting for all their friends to make a big ball of lag.

Hope we can enjoy a nice matchup this week nonetheless.

We will run on the border that we are required to run in the eyes of the AR community On the numbers: We usually run anywhere between 20-30 guys on a raid the average on weekends is around 27 (although we can hardly achieve that with the current queues caused by the wvw achievements) and on weekdays around 23.

I’d really like to know what Guilds like yours want to reach in the WvW.
GvG is comparatively balanced. Equal Teams and a few rules here and there, probably
the reason why so much Guilds loved it. I’m really looking forward to it.

WvW is unbalanced when you go there with your guild. No Rules at all, everything is allowed.

It feels so wrong when you have thirty guildmates on map perfectly in tune with each other and then you have to face 50-80 people at once. At it’s current state, the game just doesn’t offer that much flexibility nor are there any ways to face bigger groups than yours. Ofcourse we’re doing it. Heck, who didnt whipe Blobs twice or tripple your size? All Stronk guilds did and do! and I honour every guild out there.
And we all know what Skilllags are – and that they turn the tide so often.
It just feels so wrong reading this forum. All the pathetic hate and flame all the Time.

There are a few points I’d like to share. Im not often on this forum, im neither a forum warrior nor do I troll much, though I love trolling.

People shouldnt watch Streams or Montages of Guilds from Sep 12 – Aug 13 because there have been so much changes, especially balance changes, that it is almost impossible to play like this. I hope ppl start to realize this!

One more big point is that we all play this game since release. We all get better at it.
Not only the Guilds getting to know whats good and whats not, especially in terms of class synergies.

I used to play in Drakkar Lake at the Headstart of the Game. My Guild and I got owned so much from higher Tier Servers and we allways respected this dudes for there Knowledge and Skill. But instead of Tears we adepted and today, a Year later,
I can say that we’re doing very well.

I honour every Server and every Guild out there for there passion and ambitiousm for the Game and there Guilds. Most people doesn’t even realize it how time consuming it is to keep it rolling with all the balance changes and Game breaking Updates.

I have never understood why people are flaming Viz that much for example. You know, it has allways been different when facing a Vizunah Raid. Ofcourse they are a lot but thats not all what matters guys. They’re freaking organized, they do a kittenlot for there server and people playing on it. It isnt just the numbers and I honour this a lot.

Afterall it’s just a game and we are not getting paid for what we’re doing.

(Sorry for the QQ Wall but sometimes I’d like to share my thoughts)

I fully understand CoN being frustrated facing double or tripple there numbers.
When I lead Guildraid and see 80 viz fighting 80 sfr all I can do is watch this fight.

Yesterday I had a PAL Raid on Riverside Map and CoN you did an awesome Job together with the other Augury Group. You gave us good fights and yes we were more than you, but afterall it isn’t a gvg, so there aren’t rules and you should understand that Piken doesnt only run it that big numbers. It was a special event, not taking place that often and far away from spamming just autoattack – trust me.

I completely understand where you’re coming from and I was in no way trying to complain about what happend. I just wanted to explain where the complaints by my guildmates were coming from and state our opinion on this matter and say that we are sad because of it.

Ofcourse I don’t expect it to change, but much as I’ll say it to everyone if we had amazing fights, I will also tell people that the fights weren’t so amazing and why this was the case

Hope you see that I’m not trying to flame but merely trying to give an idea of how we experienced the raid every evening and why we felt that way in case someone cares.

Lol SFR was complaining last week that Piken and Vizunah were double teaming them?!?!

How about Riverside and Augury Rock double teaming on Piken this week then?

Just a quick example:

For the last 30-60 minutes, a large blob of AR (40-50 people) has been running on AR borderlands, capping Bay and Redbriar. I think, they will attack RS tower and Hills now.
How wrong could I be? They just ported their whole blob to Riverside Border and started capping Hills and Redlake there.

And just guess what they did after they got Piken tower and Keep? Yea, you guessed it, they ported again to another map. No idea which one because this just happened but I think they will go to Piken border.

This is just a quick example of RS and AR double teaming Piken, I mean it’s not like in this example that they attack us both, but AR completely ignores RS fortifications, only goes for Piken.

And about the real double teaming, just ask everyone on EB from Piken today. The whole afternoon untill evening we’ve been under RS and AR blobfests (50+ each time) going for Anzalias Pass and Ogrewatch Cut AT THE SAME TIME. Like for 6 hours straight. There was no end, we defeated one zerg, the other one popped up at Ogrewatch, and by the time we got there, it was lost, and RS re-appeared with their zerg again, going for Anza or Mendon’s, really pathetic.

I normally don’t post on the forums, but SFR’s complaining about Viz and Piken double teaming?? That had to be ONE big JOKE, because we atleast attacked vizunah once in awhile, sure not as much as SFR but our attempts at taking something from Vizunah were all a big failure, because they know how to defend, so there was no reason to go for Vizunah, so we went for SFR, and so did Vizunah.

Seems like RS and AR aren’t attacking each other at all on EB, unless they occasionly run into each other, but other then that, never seen them fight each other other then in SM.

That’s because they have no battle balls to work out a gameplay that has not developed from hatred. Let them double team !! XD
