I haven’t been online for reset but obviously, Drakkar Lake is playing in a whole different league lol. Hope things get a little better during the week and everyone will find some decent fights.

Congrats on FoW for getting out of trashbin tier! I bet your WvW community ached long under the ever same T9 match up and is now happy facing new challenges (even though our server might be a bit too much for now).

Wow Drakkar Lake, your morning crew zerg eating our BL with 8 golems for breakfast was twice the size of our biggest prime time zerg

Best tactics I’ve ever seen more golems than defenders… must be fun.

actually DL always has many players on reset, and the golems this morning are a result of one of our commanders (he switched the server and is now back on DL, and he always did a saturday morning raid, so it’s some kind of “good memories raid”). We’ll have some less people when the weekend is over.

I hope you all can enjoy the match-up, altough it’s not really fun being outnumbered. If you’re looking for some small scale fights or duels just hit me up ingame (normally we are running with 10-15 guildies or smaller groups outside of prime time)

Sad thing that Drakkar has the power to decide who will get 2nd in this matchup :/.

I am really wondering what is happening here. FoW being spawncamped by drakkar while Arborstone has 5 . We take 1 keekeepsp and withing 2 minutes it has orange swords on it. If Drakkar really is leaving Arborstone alone and spawncamping us that would be really lame.

I do enjoy the matchup even if Drakkar is so much higher than us but 2v1 would ruin it.

Drakkar is atm really focusing FoW. Still wondering why AS Bl and two keeps in eb were for 2h untouched, a lill suspicious.

The same thing used to happen when we were losing in T9. Not long ago Drakkar was pushing Arborstone’s Garrison hard and ignored us and we had hills and our spawn tower for a long time. We even had a few fights around the Garrison.

It’s just how it goes when one server is stomping the other two.

Edit: In fact the same happened when we were winning in T9.

Drakkar is obviously way out of our league. I mean the amount of scouting they do is insane. On reset we tried taking the breakout tower in Arborstone BL and a few minutes later 40~50 Drakkar turned up out of no where! Crazy. Seigerazer capped the tower on his own I think though, a bit of a ‘wtf’ moment. Speaking of reset, we tried to get hills in Arbor BL so so so bad. One time we were one tick away from capping!

FoW is used to having PvE guys swarming in, don’t worry! :> We had to face that kind of situation for months on end in T9.

Yeah it’s really not that bad. And we still have more points than Vabbi so far

Yes it’s impossible to win the matchup, but it’s not impossible to have some awesome (and very profitable) fights, sieges and duels.

I didnt see you there yesterday when they had multiple zergs and walking over everything. Thats fun in your book? That was the main reason I stopped playing when vabbi and wsr had to deal with FoW doing just that. It’s no fun being uitnumbered by 10-1.

ive been away from WvW for quite a while getting my twilight and re-organising/re-thinking my setup, im back now and i have to say kitten haha im loving this setup, i didnt like owning in t9 it became boring, i think it has something to do with being outnumbered its fun to fight against the odds now i guess

TSOC did extremely well yesterday, we had 3 commanders with a 60+ zerg, held garrison and the keeps for a long time :P enigma fel told us we shouldnt have more than one commander and kicked us out of his exclusive club (FoW alliance) xD hamham would you be able to pass a message on to psy, tell him i apologise for arguing with him, he was right after all and i wasn’t to nice about it :C

I hope the kitten farming is over with todays patch so people can get back into wvw a little. And just fow players ofcourse, drakkar can keep on farming =)

as i lived to see original 8 bit stuff, i don’t need the remake (which includes jumping puzzele thingies, oh no). so i think i will do a bit more wvw now

The reason that FOW might thinkw e are pushing on them, is simply the fact that our major guilds are currently focussing on the blue borderlands, due to a project we are trying to envolve over here.
If you want some open field action on thursday eve let me now and I will see to have less numbers at once on the FOW borderlands

So far I am not feeling great about this match up because I can’t really do anything , there are scouts everywhere so I can’t roam or I find that when I near a camp, tower or keep there is a zerg after me :P I can’t command as well, merely due to the massive amount of commanders everywhere in most maps and when I do on a very rare occasion get to command and we take something, several commanders who I have never seen or heard of appear out of nowhere

But other than that there have been a few good fights and I wish everyone luck

Coming with the update, there are tier 7 brand new materials, which can be droped by “supervisors” from supply camps. I’m a confessed roaming ranger, normal i can solo 1 camp in a few minutes and let it go for any one else opponent roaming player can capture back, so no big deal in terms of “ppt” the fall of 2 or 3 camps per hour while can be easly retake.

To Drakkar people:
— now I concerning with your attitude of extremely zealous about the capturing of 1 camp in your borderlands, each time I’ve tried to capture 1 camp of yours, Drakkar come with 5+ players just to kill 1 and stop the capture (can’t in FoW borderland, because you guys have 40 zerg train there every minute since the update), that’s against Geneve convention and made me wonder why you don’t let the supply camp capture, since 5 minutes later you can capture back and get also materials for you….. so why you do this? have you sign treated with Anet for the sake of economy or Drakkar have such a tunnel vision that can’t share anything, even with small servers as us Fissure of Woe or Aborstone either?

Either way, hope you have fun whatever you do, just don’t be enslaved by your duties, cya in game

Not sure what that project is and why it involves only the blue BL but I think you should divide and conquer! Last part of this week your project moved to the green BL

We got alot of attention thats for sure. Feels like everything we cap will be lost in a few minutes. We defend succesfull? Prepare for the next attack! In the end it feels like we are running in circles because we dont have the numbers to cover all fronts.

Sure hope we get some more players active in wvw. Future will tell!

Yeah it’s easy to label someone a whiner when all he is is kitten ed about the poor server matchups. Makes sense to call me a whiner I guess, but then again I also was complaining/whining about this when we(fow) did the same to vabbi and wsr. It was not fun for me to be outnumber them, and it’s also no fun being outnumbered.
All I want is fair server matchups, and if that comes over as whining so be it :/
