Here’s to a good week in WvW once again with our bros on BP and AR.

I have attached a picture for each server to follow as the master strategy to follow in the Borderlands for each respective map.

All problems of this tier can be solved with this very very simple formula. It is a tried and true formula and I have tested it on multiple guinea pig servers.

According to my calculations, if this happens there will be a 0% chance of boring fights. The entire week will almost be as fun as PVE Achievements!!!

So I did this tactic earlier and it made me consider a question, anyone able to answer it would be great.

Essentially I did a Shadow Step to get behind Borlis Pass in their Garrison(Ehmry Held) on the outer wall, Went stealth and dropped a [Smoke Screen] for the Smoke field combo and then opened a Dagger storm in the middle of the Smoke field to cause Blinding Bolts.

Now what I was wondering as Dagger storm has a bounce from target thing going on in that scenario does the Blind from the combo-field also carry over to the ricochet daggers, if so I found my new favorite thing. If not ah well.

I love Ebay, they always bring the fight to us defenders, who usually get bored.

To the BP player that said AR was “toast” in the last thread, whew you are off to a good start! (Actually, you are off to a worse start than last round, but I see what you are doing, false sense of security…)
Man I hate how crazy zergy reset night is. Had a few fun fights with EBay D/D eles in ARBL. One was disrupted by a thief, but meh, it’s reset night.

So who keeps sending in fake scores at Mos?
Second time in the last couple weeks when it was WAY off from the true score.

So I did this tactic earlier and it made me consider a question, anyone able to answer it would be great.

As far as I know, the generation of blinding bolts is separate from the actual dagger attack (and thus won’t bounce). Even if it isn’t, the combo field effect should still only apply to first struck character. But even then, daggerstorm with smoke, poison, or ethereal field can be a real killer.

Missed 1.5 hours at start, got to get on for some great fights in BP BL, that I hope EBay enjoyed too. Even though you had (and still have at the time of my logging) us on the back foot, all of our peeps were having a great time. Looking forward to more of it throughout the week

CHARR STORY TIME!

Back in WWII Tokyo and due to a confluence of factors, the elephants of Ueno Zoo were purposely starved to death. Some of these elephants were trained to perform tricks. These elephants kept performing their tricks over and over in a desperate bid to earn food. For the grand majority of these elephants, that food never came and they suffered a terrible fate.

REMINDS CHARR OF TODAY IN EBBL!

WFD, aka Water For Diving, aka Watching Friends Die aka Waypoint First, Dudes put on a synchronized swimming show for the Ehmry Bay defenders in the south ruins river. Their compatriots SBZY and WAR were hunted down like dogs and unceremoniously tossed in the dumpster…the only success they had all night was Siegerazer spamming a paper breakout tower until they finally zerged it down after umpteen tries…only to hold it for all of 15 minutes.

WFD was cornered and with fear in their eyes, they waved white flags, desperately hoping not to get stomped again by Sekz.

Swimming to and fro they went…around and around and around they go…WFD FORM SHAPE OF DOUGHNUT!

On the shoreline, lazily eying the proceedings, stood Sekz and the other Ehmry defenders. After running out of tricks, WFD, gasping for breath, sopping wet, and looking like a pack of mangy dogs, crawled to shore where they were promptly converted into badges and juicy WvWXP (thanks for marinating in the water!).

And Ehmry continued dumpstering BP and AR and EBay lived happily ever after.

I can’t see that happening. They had a good reset, but I can’t see them getting an even bigger margin of victory for the rest of the week to move up a tier. At this point I would be alright with it. Even though I enjoyed a lot of the fights last night, especially the fight to take back BP’s Garrison, I’m ready for a change of scenery. We aren’t ready to be anywhere near another tier higher, and the overall vibe from Ebay with the mocking, “dumpstering”, etc. is gross.

heh, so ebay is in 13th place atm. i guess bragging rights will brag. the game is still a game, and i can still log off and it not impact my life one bit.

the truth is they have a higher population turning out for wvw. simply put; they out number us. it’s not hard to see why they would win. let them have their day in the sun.

Are we leading because of better coverage? probably. Are we terrible and never win when we have less? No.
You make it sound like we have never been in another tier. We bounced around tier 3 and 4 for a bit. Had ups and downs, we know what it is like to have less coverage. So enjoy laughing for whatever joy it brings you but we will still be having fun.
Will BP be better with us gone? Doubtful seeing that another server with better coverage will be there in our place. So enjoy your laugh. I will be busy having fun in game regardless of the score and standings.

Just woke up at 3:00PM. I can’t believe how many people we had pulling all-nighters. So that’s what it feels like to have nighttime coverage. Don’t worry Kalkz. We can’t toss communal boosts on you every night of the week, so you’ll have have plenty of time to keep up the chest thumping against empty towers on weekdays.

I don’t think anyone in BP or AR finds being called bad humorous.

I don’t know about all what goes on with our three servers since I just started getting into WvW on my thief, but I’ve had some pretty fun fights in AR borderlands this morning with people on Ehmry Bay. A lot of good fighting with the Five-Thousand Finishers (I saw them the most) people while roaming. It’s really enjoyable. Thank you!
I’m a little Asura thief from either I Can Outtweet A Centaur (TWIT) or Brotherhood of Steel (BoS) on Anvil Rock. Looking forward to more fighting once I make family go away.

Stupid Stupid tactics you people use. No wonder we can’t cap 1 tower for over a month.

While the trolling bit is tacky – and I’m sorry you had to deal with that – there is such a thing as overextending ourselves. We don’t have quite the organized population in the morning (there is mostly pugging going on). So while you might be calling for help, keep in mind that there are a lot less reliable bodies available to actually give that help.

We get more PPT by holding what we have than losing two towers to capture one.

Thing about us Ebayers is we’ve shown ample times that 10 of us can wipe AR/BP zergs night in and night out.

To say ebay is only winning due to numbers is a lie. Ebay has some of the most skilled roamers in this game.

As for Kalkz, I can’t wait to get to a higher tier. It will be orders of magnitude more competition that it is now…punching BP’s “best” guilds with a giant charr fist like they were wee charr kittens. AR puts up 10x the fight every night, kudos to you guys K. Hills WP was defended pretty well but you guys did what you neede to while we get 2/3 keeps in BP well into the morning.

Uhh, sorry, but no. You win because you can raise armies for three maps all at the same time that are as large or larger than what we can raise for one map. Skilled roamers don’t take towers and keeps, and they don’t carry enough supply for siege.
Sorry, but we all have skilled players, but that doesn’t necessarily win WvW like it does PvP.
