Our pugs ran circles around them without a commander a couple times, and then when they hit FOO they simply just melted that much faster.

Not sure if they haven’t gotten all their transfers over or they haven’t changed their tactics yet but the trip away from T1 has just made them worse.

Sure, it’s a different game in Tier 1 these days that some of our guilds have never faced and others have not seen in quite a while. It might be a learning curve, but they’ll be back in the swing of things shortly! 1 day in tier 1 doesn’t make or break a guild. Just means you are more prone to die to them by underestimating their skill in a couple weeks

Underestimate being the operative word.
The longer you go without a serious challenge, the further behind the curve you get.
Complacency is a two-way street though.

I see new stuff every single week. Tactics shifting, especially in siege and open field make it easier for those behind the curve to catch up since they are learning the new “meta” of sorts at the same time as those who were up to speed. Eventually, everyone gets to the same level and the advantage goes to whatever guild or force is pushing their tactics and strats to the max

i’ve seen WM/pugs zerg got wiped by TW/Tsym/Hire zerg. but you have to understand, pve guilds running with one of the most well known guild against 3 of the best in sor is a no contest .also, I’ve only seen a very few of WM in BG atm. Give them some time, I never knew FOO existed during SBI’s prime to be honest.

and there is a reason why a certain NA guild is “avoiding” TW, They’re actually pretty devastating. good thing is, TW/Hire didnt leave SOR BL to defend.

Give WM time to adjust. T1 has evolved so it’s not the same as it was 2-3 months ago.

Well, I would first like to point out that WM has been out of T1 for what 2-3 months now? And really their tactics have not evolved much (IMO they are still using tactics that are 2-3 months old). I can only assume this is because they have not really had much of a challenge in the lower tiers. It has mostly been zergs of the masses they have been facing not organized forces. (just my guess, I am not trying to say t2 = baddies, or any other tier for that matter) It is just that in t1 there is a higher organized population level and because of that tactics evolve faster. So give them some time and they will adjust (or at least they should).

I however am shocked by the numbers WM has. When everyone talked about them before I had the impression the were the size of FoO. Maybe I was just misinformed. But I only see about 20-25 of them running around. Maybe I have bad timing and have not seen them in force yet? Or have they not all transfered yet?

It went to Kaineng and started pushing the worst server to T1. Eventually it seemed each week they were doing worse and worse (at least Kaineng was). My guess is people got bored of the repetitive crap that is WvW nowadays while ArenaNet ignores the real problems with WvW and people just ended up quitting.

If you solely focused on PPT score am sure it gets boring.

Thus far am loving Tier 1, lots of action, lots of targets and is very active 24/7 which cannot be said at other tiers. Besides, ANY game can feel burn out if you play it too much so take a break and come back refreshed.

Anyone want to 1v1 me? Getting tired of getting 1v5’d by havoc squads complaining about giant zergs ^^

For whatever reason, they don’t have anywhere near the numbers that they used to have. Even on Kaineng they didn’t have very many people and they’ve likely lost even more with the transfer to BG.

Also, there isn’t any major difference between T1 and T2 other than the size of zergs and ultimately there is only so much a small group can do against a JQ megazerg.

WM showed up in force to BG BL Bay when we controlled it late last night/early morning hours. SOR had outmanned buff btw. They wiped easily to our defensive force that was there led by NYS

And I do agree, WM is on what, their 3rd or 4th server transfer? Am sure some of their members grow tired of moving around so there will always be stragglers who elect to stay put when a guild moves around as much as they do.

Maybe zerg size yes, but I don’t understand why people say only x server is zerging at a time. All three servers have super zergs at a lot of times of the day and night. I remember one night in SoR BL all three sides had kitten close to a 80 man zerg, now I don’t see all three having a super zerg often, but all three of our servers DO zerg. Complain all you want, but its not just JQ, SoR or BG. Its all of us.

And i’m pretty sure tactics in T2 are different than in T1 considering how WM has been playing in T1 so far.

So far i’ve seen WM in 30-40 or so, and its quite literally impossible to have three times that on a BL. I still think my server needs a counting workshop, but I think all servers might sometimes too considering you can’t actually have 100 man zergs either. Maybe if you guys only actually run 20 man groups three times that might be possible.

Ummn, in the last 8 weeeks BG finished 2nd, then finished 1st, finished 3rd a few times, then finished 2nd again. Does not seem the score remains as stagnant as you are trying to suggest.
